Nice try. But no worries. I think it was Snapshot who called the time leading up to the draw results the “Silly Season.” We’ll take any info you have, regardless of the source. In this time of famine we feast on falsehoods and revel in rank speculation. Gotta go call 602.942.3000. Be right back…

Awesome! Some day he'll be saying "I don't know why, but I just don't feel right without a shed in my hand." That's a handsome young huntin' buddy you got there. Congratulations and way to start him out right.

Thanks for posting. I might have to look under the sofa cushions and see if I can scrape up enough for this.

+ 1 on the diversity! That bottom pic looks like a mulie that's still packing. Great pics! Thanks for posting.

Sweet finds! And great sheep pics too! Welcome to the CWT.com. Thanks for posting.

Great finds! Thanks for posting. It'd be incredible if you ended up with three sets but sounds like you know where to look. Good luck! I'm looking forward to those pics. (P.S. I'll be wearing my prairie CWT.com shirt this weekend too. I hope it brings me 1/4 the luck you had on your trip.)

Sweet finds! You'll always remember finding this set. Thanks for sharing the great field pics too. (I'm never composed enough to take the "as it was found" pic. I usually just leap on any shed I find. It's like Sasquatch is gonna jump out from behind a tree and grab it if I don't. Maybe I will be more calm, cool and collected if I find bone this year though. Hope springs eternal. ) Great Job and thanks for the post!

What a haul! Well done! Thanks for posting. -
Freakish eyeguards and cool palmation. Is there a story to go along with it?

Looking out for a .243 Junior Rifle

Great pics! Red is undeniably a great color on her but have you considered a nice Grong-orange CWT.com shirt? Just a thought. Good luck on the rifle quest. If you can wait til the end of the year, Cabela's has their "spend so much money get so much money to spend on your next visit" deal. But when it comes to buying firearms, waiting is for wimps. -
Bolt ons!

That’s felony stupid right there. I have no sympathy for the guy because poaching is poaching. But if he is too dumb to figure out that he should have processed his “bush meat” himself, he’s probably also at a loss as to why his life is in such a shambles. 10 days in the pokey here. 10 days there. He’ll end up doing life behind bars on the installment plan. -
Sounds like a great trip! Congratulations to you and my condolences to your buddy who found bone on his first trip. Like a gambler is born with the first win, I think he'll now be shed hunting zealot, probably forever. You may have created a monster.

The Trifecta!?! Elk, mulie and coues on the same trip? I've always wondered if anyone ever did that before. Now I know. Well done!

Beautiful country! Also, what kind of backpacking tents do you use? Those look handy for keeping you dry and keeping the scorpions out of your bedroll.

Small brown mulie set (Updated with more pics)

Sweet set! Good work! -
All sheds are cool but a matching set of freshly dropped sheds is freakin' awesome! Congrats on your find! (And they look like they belonged to that bull in the pic. Do you think your sheds were off that bull?)

I've not tried it but I asked a similar question before. I believe the consensus is that putting two doulers or triplers on a set of binos is not the best idea. http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...s+doubler\ Even if it worked, meaning you could see through both eye pieces AND get a clear picture AND gazing through them did not make you sick, I also believe the consensus is that trying to glass that way is not advisable. http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...&hl=tripler But if you decide to give it a go, let us all know how it works. Good luck.

BEAUTIFUL! Your hard work paid off. Big time! Well done.

This is my first attempt at posting video clips. I hope it works. The "Mystery Solved" in the description comes from the fact that we have had various items (plastic food containers, the occasional banana, etc.) that we swore was on the kitchen counter pushed far back from the edge when we left the house only to come home and find it somewhere else in the house (or in the back yard.) So I set up the trail cam on video mode to see what was going on. To our surprise, our cattle dog mix who is only 19 inches at the withers has been counter surfing on our 36 inch kitchen counters. (She's also my faithful but useless shed hunting buddy who appears in my avatar.) In one video you can see her pushing some containers off the drying and into the sink. The other video which I call "The Dismount is Gonna Cost Her" you see her on the counter then she apparently slipped. She is able to keep her feet under for an inelegant but still impressive dismount. In that video you can see the size relative to the counter top. Interestingly, we have video of her jumping down from the counters, but none of her jumping on to them. Let's see if this works. http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/kk146/N...sterySolved.flv http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/kk146/N...onnacosther.flv

Happy BD, DB! I value your Libertarian perspective. The only political party with intellectual honesty, IMHO. To each, his own!

Great pics! Thanks for posting. And btw, is Zip the same dog you're packing in your avatar? Great lookin' dog. Cattle dogs are smart too. Maybe too smart.
