I killed a pig 4 years ago outside of phoenix that field dressed out at 71lbs and the game warden said he has never seen or heard of a pig dressing out so heavy and the funny thing is the skull only scored 12 7/8. he was a young pig also. here is a field photo and i will try and find the picture of him life size mounted with my 12 year old daughter standing next to him to really show his size.

lets hear how much of the money raised will go directly to that species, example elk tag sells for 150,000 how much will go directly back to elk habitat or reintroduction to new areas and so fourth. as a life member of the elk foundation i am having a real issue with sfw having control of the money and not the organization that sells the tag for that species.so lets hear the real money break down here.

we were down there on the general hunt and my daughter killed her deer on the kiabab jr's and my son has a muzzle loader tag in dec or i would be down there.

I have been a big fan of the 36a early Jr's hunt. my question is to all of you and the game and fish why dont they put the same hunt in 36b instead of the late Nov hunt. who would be in favor of it? to me it is all about the kids and the more option we have the more kids we can get involved and be more successfully. i just feel they should hunt before the adults for a better experience. your thoughts and ideas are more then welcome.

what are you asking for the 243 WIN MODEL 70. i might be interested in it for my daughter.

these two bucks almost became road kill when they jumped out in front of me. wish i could have gotten better pictures of the one he is a toad he had 5 per side plus those giant eye guards and great mass.

just thought i would share my mount that chris favor at mount-n-view taxidermy did for me with my 31lb badger and fox.

nope i meant today i am leaving to head to camp then we will start hunting tomorrow. it is a 6 hour drive from Texas to get there so i will be heading out this afternoon so i can be there by dark.

yes the badger was killed in Arizona on a January archery hunt in the desert along with the fox. i just happened upon him as i was stalking a buck and decided he was worth ending my stalk there and when i shot my badger he was half way out of his hole popping his teeth at me at 20yds so i drew back and took aim at his chest the arrow passed through him pinning him to the wall of the hole as he did a 180 he broke my arrow off as he went back in his hole and i ended up having to dig some to fit my body and crawl down 8 feet to get him out. good thing he was dead cause i think i would have been in a world of hurt but i didn't think about it at the time i just didn't want to loose him. now i need to get a bobcat with my bow to finish my collection of the smaller stuff. they make a awesome looking mount.

i am heading out tomorrow with bow in hand and the only reason i may not draw is because they are too small but should have some pictures to share either alive or with me behind em.

i had to have the dry wall replaced in the front room from water damage so i had to remove most of my mounts until they are finished and painted should be back up in the next week. and thank you that is my largest archery goat. he scored 88 and 7/8. very proud of him.

what is the price on the new one? and also are the older ones going to be dropping on price since the new ones are hitting the market now.

Hey guys well i am looking for a off range oryx hunt with a good chance to harvest. Any help with a quality outfitter would be helpful. any input welcome.

here is my problem when i went to shot them all I AM LEFT HANDED. so i had to shoot right handed bows to get the feel of them. i went to the alpha burner because it felt the smoothest, it was quiet and the speed is awesome. i love that i can go to a 425 grain arrow at 310-315 fps or shoot a 350 grain arrow pushing the high 330's. i have decided to meet in the middle with weight so i have more then enough penetration and flatness. but as before everyone is different when it comes to feel of a bow and the only way to find out if it is for you is to go down there and lay out the bows you are interested in and shoot a few arrows through them and make your decision from there.

I shot them all and in the end i went with the hoyt alpha burner. it felt the best and shot the best for me. as a few other people have already said it isnt worth the extra money just to look cool. take the extra cash and buy the top equipment for your bow or save the extra to put towards quality optics.

has anyone here used this rest and if so what is your opion of it. i just bought the hoyt alpha burner and trying to decide on one of the new rests as i want to leave my other bow together as a back up.
