The crowd was booing him probably because when asked to shake hands with Mir at the start of the fight Mir held out his hands in a show of sportsmanship and class, and Lesnar just turned and walked to his corner. I think the fans in this sport have a lot of respect for sportsmanship.

I just wanted to quote myself on the Lesnar - Mir fight! Too bad Lesnar showed ZERO sportsmanship before or after the fight. Whoever called him a "Tool" is right on. The Henderson KO was one of the best I've ever seen and It couldn't have been given to a more deserving person. It will be interesting to see what kind of damage Bisping suffers.... broken jaw? Concussion? That looked pretty brutal and It took him a long time to wake up. As much as I don't like GSP, he completley neutralized Thiago and worked him pretty good.

I also think that in the case of Brock Lesnar that early on in the contract negotiations Lesnar insisted on fighting top ranked fighters. I think the UFC was scrambling trying to find a poster boy heavyweight fighter to fill the shoes of the recently fallen Tim Silvia who was never really favored by the fans at all. He was boo'd more than cheered and was not all that fun to watch (unless you're talking about when Frank Mir snapped his forearm). The UFC finally got sick of Tim Silvia not drawing a crowd so they get crowd favorite Randy Coture to go de-throne him. Not even the UFC expected Coture to keep the belt for very long, they just wanted Silvia gone. Long story short.... Lesnar's timing was perfect. His size was perfect. And so far he seems to fit the poster boy fan favorite the UFC was hoping for in a heavyweight...... Now that is $$$ CHANGE $$$ that the UFC can believe in

Go Tiago what is this GSP is the best in the World. I've liked him eversince the first time I saw him fight. I knew he'd be where hes at today. GO GSP. Now I hate to disagree but one thing I think we might be able to agree on is that Michael Bisping needs a beat down. Sorry man but GSP reminds me of Jean Claude Van Dame!

Does anyone know if my Thompson Encore Pro Hunter muzzle loader that I just bought will accept a 12" or 15" Encore pistol barrel? Are all the Encore stocks, grips, and barrels pretty much interchangable?

I've owned a bunch of different cams over the years, including the home brews. For my money I'd go with the DLC Covert II. It's a great little unit, with good battery life, LED's , pic's or video, and great picture quality. Good luck!

I think the point here is that Washington DC has an extremely high death rate due to gun violence and also has some of the most strict gun laws in the country. Proof that tough gun laws don't equal safer citys.

This all just seems to be right in line with our new form of Government in this country. It costs a lot more money to run big government. Half the reason we currently have such large budget shortfalls in government agencies is that we expanded them to much during the good economic times. Now that we have contraction the agencies are to large to operate without siginificant cut backs or changes in fee structures (taxes). ... Here comes your change!

Just to clarify my previous post. I didn't mean to insinuate that you or anyone else was breaking the law. I was just trying to identify my understanding of the law. I think you did the noble thing by letting her keep the buck. However, I've also seen a situation where two friends are hunting and one guy shoots and wounds a buck. The other friend who was nearby sees the wounded buck and finishes it off. When they both get to the deer, which isn't very big, they both think the other guy should tag it. This has always been an interesting topic, because most hunters seem to live by the rule that "if you draw first blood it's your deer". But on the flip side of that the law says something totally different.

I believe the law states that the person who kills the deer is supposed to tag the deer. If your shot killed the buck the way I understand the law you are required to tag it. I never understood why anyone would want a buck that someone else killed anyway?

Well with my 777 i have to clean between every shot. Wow i have heard rumors about the stuff. It is really true? Is the velocity on the bullet the same as 777. Oh yea two pounds of 777 loose for sale! Bob No BS on the cleaning stuff I don't even run a dry patch through it between shots. Not only is it easier to load after a few shots, but the groups seem to tighten up after three or four shots as well. I'm not sure about the velocities since I haven't shot through my chrono yet. For what it's worth my best groups have come with 110 grains BH209 pushing a 290 grain Barnes TEZ. Like I said, I'm just a rookie with this stuff. I'm just letting you guys know what my experience has been.

Still not sure why they need the tag? Seems to me as long as the houndsman has a tag (which most do) they should be ok running the lion... right? Houndsman do this sort of thing all the time to train their dogs. As long as they have a valid tag they can persue a lion without the intent of killing it. Why would the Sierra Club person even need a tag if they aren't planning on killing the lion?

As most of you know I am also a rookie to muzzleloader hunting. I bought a new TC Encore Pro Hunter and have been using the Blackhorn 209 powder with great results. It has been very accurate so far, but the best attribute of it is the fact that I don't have to clean the barrel between shots. In fact it seems to get easier to load the bullets the more fouled the barrel is. I've shot as many as a dozen bullets through it without cleaning... try doing that with T7 or anything else!
