Holy Crap!! Thats a lot of elk there. I don't know why they would need collars on three of them, I would like to think they wouldn't be able to loose that heard.

Just be careful I have hunted on the Res for a lot of years in the past. I can tell you that I have ran into the same situations many of times. I have read the regs, did it by the regs and had a Res warden tell me they were wrong. So I called the G&F office to ask about it and got a different answer, that had made three different answers in 30 minutes. The next day I went to their office got another answer, that lady got up from behind the counter to go do something and I started talking to another lady and got another answer, by this time I had five different answers in less than 24 hours. At that time I asked for someone in charge, when he came over to speak with me I told him about the five different answers that I have gotten, he didn't know what to say and he also didn't know the answer. All I can say is be careful, buy a permit and you should be fine. Also one year we were bear hunting in August and saw a Tribal Member take a Bull Elk so we called it in and they told us to mind our own business that they tolerate so much of it. In my opinion the Res has some of the best quality hunting and can be the most rewarding for their Trophy animals. Just buy a permit and all should be fine. Good luck on your hunt.

Right on Bret tell Jakob congratulations for me. That had to be a good feeling for you to be able to watch Jakob take his first pig with a bow. Jakob has accomplished more in two years than we did in five. Now you need to teach him how to mount that sucker. Aaryn has her first pig hunt coming up on the 22nd of this month so I hope to see you on the 23rd. Once again congrats.

I have shot four hog's in three years here in AZ hunting these ugly things when there's no other hunts going on is a lot of fun. And let me tell you what when you find where they are at you'll see how bad they really are to have around by what they do to the land.

I'm with you my Dad and Grandpa are both fire. These people will give their lives and not even think twice about it. I"m sure he was a GREAT firefighter, father, husband, friend and hunter. One should only have felt lucky to have know him. May God be with his kids, wife and loved one's.

2nd I don't quite know what to think of this statement, hope you are joking. They are not Game and Fish officers nor are they Animal control officers. They are called fire fighters for a reason with training in the medical back ground. The fire dept is a public service that is not trained in animal remove ale or disposal. They go on these calls to help out, you should be thanking them for the job they do and not criticizing them. So with that said hopefully you will never need them to give you a helping hand but if for some reason you do make sure you tell them how you feel so that they are not rude while helping you out. Chill out or I'll throw a ninja star in your eye. How good are you with that ninja star if you are good I'm done.

If he wants people to know he would tell where he took this great buck from. I didn't mean anything by saying the unit there is a lot of country out there. Yeah Amanda later that night Denton decided that he wanted to go to Globe and chase the ladies and me being the responsible person that I am, I took the keys out of the ignition while he was in the house cause I knew he would feel bad if he wasn't able to make it up the next morning. To my surprise the lad had a hide a key. On a twenty dollar bet (that I lost) he did make it back up to help out on the hunt. Denton +1 Bryan 0 I'll get it back!!
