I have always know this to be the "Walk Back Method" which works extremely well, for tuning your centershot. It is a lot better to do it this way, instead of paper tuning( which i dont believe in considering your arrow is oscillating differently at different distances as its exiting the bow) I would have someone watch you shoot, and then maybe have them shoot to see if they are having the same issues. Tuning and tinkering with your bow is just about as fun as shooting it. Plus if you do decide to tinker with it. You will understand it and be able to tell right away if something is off. As Elecshoc stated as well, Walk back method and bare shaft tuning is the way to go.

I agree with azcouesandelk and coocoo4coues......... Trophy taker. I have been shooting that rest for years with no problems and it shoots fantastic. Its not the full containment one but I have never needed that. I have a small rubber arrow holder on the riser shelf that holds my arrow until I draw.

I always shot with the cock vane up with my ripcord.... if set up properly it shouldnt hit if the vane is up or down or to the side.... you can always spray foot power on your vanes and shoot, to see if you have any vane clearance issues.

It wasnt as bad this year than what I have seen in the past as far as trash.....Tracy was in our camp when we had the illegals come in... it was fine... they asked us a couple of questions and then were on there way....And I had also glassed up around 53 of them. I never carry a sidearm with me...And nor do I plan to. (Unless I am predator hunting). I had my rifles put away in there cases and never felt threatened once.... But then again when you see them.. different people have different reactions...(scared, upset...etc) and I think that kinda sets the tone. Just do what feels the most comfortable to you...
