Hey I have seen cow elk in unit 42, I can put you on them pretty easy....and if you want you can buy a Pterodactyl tag as well. might as well get this one in a lifetime tag, why it is still available

I try to sleep with a doe, and then i smell like her, then i have nothing to worry about.

I was hunting the whole entire day, with nothing but muleys to be seen, found a nice 4x4 pickup as well. about 40 mins before sun down i spoted 2 bulls feeding around 1000 yards give or take. i could only tell they were bulls when one of them moved, the sun glared off of his antler. He was the 9th bull I saw, Me and a friend of mine started the sneak down rather quickly since we were racing the sun. i got to about 200 yards and could see his size, then I knew he was a shooter for sure. i didnt have a clear shot, i snuck down a little draw and came up on the other side of the next hill and had about a 150 yard shot or so. just guess since i had no rangefinder. I sat underneath a juniper and set up for the shot. the bigger bull started walking up and away and gave me the perfect shot angle. When i shot, i struck the bull right behind the shoulder and about half the way up his body. He didnt take 10 steps before hitting the ground. The 2nd bull that was there started running to the north, which just so happened that is where my friend was, and he filled his tag that same evening. out of our group there were 6 tags, and there was 5 of them filled. My father was the only one who didnt fill, but was just as happy to see me fill my tag with that kind of elk. It was a great hunt and one that I wont forget that is for sure.

On the G4 on his left, at the very tip started to fork off, but not enough to count as an additional tip in my book. he came out to be a 7x5, between his g4 and g5 on his left there is a small 3 inch or so tine. a little addition.
-
He came up at around 384 when he was green scored. i havent scored him after the drying period. His G2 on the left antler looks like he hit it when in velvet. its missing, and then he had a snapped tine on his #5

Take nothing smaller than a 130 class buck... actually any buck with antlers that are capable of shedding.

The only thing i have ever been charged with was assault with a deadly wet one -
Well i did it, I bought the 2005 reflex grizzly, with the slam 1/2 cams. this bow shoots awsome, cranks and arrow out very quickly. my 20yard pin and 30yard pin are the same, dead on for both, very flat shooting. Very impressed with this bow. Shooting axis 340's havent got it chrono'ed yet but hopefully will in the near future
-
Does anyone have a reflex bow, I know there made by Hoyt, just looking for some input regaurding this bow, or the similar hoyt bows, I have shot the reflex grizzly several times and i like the feel, just looking for some imput, I have a Bear bow, but its a old bear bow, just looking for something to upgrade to
-
Depends on what your looking for the Grizzly packages will go roughly 299.95, the caribou will be 449.95 and thats bow only, timberwolf is 399.95 for the bow only, the buckskin is 329 bow only, the game getter is 199.95 bow only and the excursion is 249.95 for the bow only
-
If your thinking about hoyt, you might want to look at their reflex line, a little less expensive, but solid shooting bows www.reflexbow.com

I use a Tru Ball Short N Sweet, Excelent release, best of both worlds you can shoot it as a rope release or take the rope off and use the hook on a loop type setup, very fantasitic release

I am shooting Carbon Express Terminator hunters 4560's, have shot them at about everything, still have them unbroken and still ready to rock, good practice is hunting quial and jackrabbits
