Lark sorry for the hi-jack! I miss Antionette's more than home, and your right Vicky runs the kitchens in Phx and they have toned it down. As far a the cold remedy: Granolas at QT will help, but you need the full stregth ones from Sedona or Norcal for the full effect! Stan, Thanks for rubbing it in! Garron

As a fellow RV'er the goto is Los Dos Molinos. Not all chilies are created equal. You have to look for the Hatch "Hots" and "Super hots". It sounds like you are way ready to move up from those common "Big Jim" chilies. I'd go with a relleno with seeds, side o' pasole or menudo. At leaset the full belly will distract you from the cold symptoms. Feel better, Garron

Rusty's 928-333-3165 Rusty's processed a bull for me and did an outstanding job. Super clean, clearly marked, quick, and the price was very good. Funny I can't remimber his name but I am pretty sure it is not Rusty. The shop has been active forever, L. Sherwood ran it followed by G. West and then a few others.

Remington 7600 chambered in .30-.06 $425 Rifle was purchased out of Murphy’s in Tucson. Murphy’s also provided the services of adding Leupold base and rings with a Bushnell Trophy 3x9 along with matching a Limbsaver to the rifle. Pretty rifle that has seen little time in the field other than harvesting one raghorn bull in the late season of 2002. Asking $425 Please PM for any details, thanks for looking.

Thanks for looking, All PMs replied to. Further information: About 300 rounds fired, "cool" handloads or factory ammo. Currently zeroed for 150 grn. Core Locks, and shoots well: right near 2 inch when shooter does his/her part. Happy New Year!

It’s getting hot enough to roast marshmallows in here. I heard that freshman orientation at NAU they give you a pair of Birkenstocks and a Hacky sack. According to .270 you have to have a passport and a five spot mordida to get into a parking spot at the U of A.. Finally, do all know the difference between ASU and prison? … You have to do something to get into prison! ‘tis the season!

There is a lot of history between these two schools. Right now both get to brag about a number seasons of missed opportunities in a wide variety of sport, layoffs/hiring freezes and sky high tuition hikes. Do I have to hate one to be a fan of the other? I like when local kids get a place to shine. Carry on gentlemen. For the record I am a Lumberjack ’00, a Sundevil ‘03, and now live in Wildcat Country.

Check Corson's barrels out of Kingman. They may have a barrel for you depending on the manufacture date of the shotgun.

I have used them and they add quite a lot of traction depending on your tires. There is debate on if you should/have to chain up all four wheels if you have a "high tech" 4X4 system. Make sure that the chains have proper fit and that the tensioners are working and well placed. If you have a loose chain getting stuck will be the least of your worries. There are some trucks out there that have very little clearance for chains. I have an FJ Cruiser that I would not put chains on the front and had an old school FJ Landcruiser that could handle anything. My last input is to run the chains the very minimum, and at very low speed. Good luck out there!

Those are great photos! My Father would allow me to come along sometimes when he visited Skeeter and Georgeta out by Big Lake in the Summer. They had an amazing set of stories to tell! Thanks, Garron -
Great news! Congradulations to you and your family. Looks like have a whole new batch to brag on. Please pass it along to Gunner, I wish him the best. Garron

Cash Box in Tucson. Yep it's a pawn shop right off of Davis Air Base, sometimes there is fun things in there. -
nice thread. my hawkey likes the following: 75 grn Sierra HP moly coated on top of Reloader 15 use the book specs. Mine run on the high side. This load make pretty little clover-leaves on paper and pink spray out of ground squirels. 117 Hornady BTSP moly coated on top of grains Reloader 22. Nice load works well on the steel turkeys out at the Tucson Rifle Club, and so far great on a pair of coyotes. Hoping for a tag next month! I suggest that you pull up the reloader guide from Alliant Powder. Nosler and Hornady have great reloader pages as well.

Sorry I just checked back in. Take a look, this is Beau (Bow). He looks like he will be a great one, likes to explore on his own, follows his nose very well. Even at this young age he is showing signs of being very trainable, but the main piece is that he is a great new friend for our family. Thanks Tom.

Firstcouse, Thank you for posting. Just made it back to Tucson with a new addition, and we could not be happier! If you are looking for a new pup this is not one to pass up. Each pup is a keeper and they come from a happy, healthy household. I cannot say enough about how nice it was. Now the fun begins, thanks!

Maybe show a little local flavor and go with "Longhorn's" somewhere in the name. Good luck. -

The applications are the easy part. They cashed my checks last week and now the waiting begins...... -
Amazing images. Thank you, P.S. Mind the weather when you hit the slot canyons!

It is grand life as long as you don't fade... depending on what you used to carry you might move away from the trusty lever actions as well.

Congratulations on a job well done. It is hard to beat the combination of the camaraderie, the thrill of the hunt, the challenge, and the bonus of a exceptional harvest.

I would like to find a better way into the north side of 6B. I looked at the hunter reg. forms on the Camp Navajo website and would like to hear if any one has hunted on, or used it to get into the North side of the unit. Thanks,

stole this one from an Eastwood movie: After a long hike in and a pretty prodcutive day it is was fun to produce an unknown beer: crack it and give a nice AHH after the first sip. When your hunting buddy (brother) looks at you wondering just where it the world you got the beer or just how dumb you are to pack it in, reach deep down in HIS pack to the secret stash and give him the other one. it was priceless!
