Not all reports are published, and I'm seeing a discrepancy between them for the 3004 hunt code.

Gohunt buys the same database as Toprut for AZ, NV, WY, and NM. Both create their own draws and derive odds from there. Toprut publishes the nr AZ elk point pools, gohunt provides a trend line. They are both accurate within the context of a random draw, where it really comes down to your luck and your random number.

They would not be the only applicants from 2016 with an application receipt that was different than the actual hunt codes used by the computer.

So for a bad card they are still going to give you a bonus point unlike in the past where you lost bonus point and loyalty point? yes As part of the new changes, you are charged for the point as part of your app fee, therefor, as long as your license was valid on the last day of the app period, you will gain a point and keep the loyalty point if your card charge is not processed. No different than if you applied for just the point.

They processed the draw tag cards on Friday; don't know if they finished or not, I didn't ask. That data then goes to the Game Branch, then the list of alternates will come back for more card processing. Those secondary cards may be done by the end of the week (24th). Probably a cpl weeks after that for portal updates but they have no way of knowing for sure.

Every account shows "pending" up till they change to "drawn" or "not drawn". The "more info" link on your portal licenses account will show 0 bonus points until they post results. That section of your account isn't a live feed to your points.

Some of us actually talk to people within the Dept. Get to the right person, ask questions they're allowed to answer, and they're more than happy to talk.

When you update the CC info and submit, a copy of the token is shown on the next screen with all the corrected info. That token is attached to your app. Print that page and you'll be good to go. There is currently a bug in the system that doesn't update the users data page so even through you updated the CC info, it will show the original. They know of the error and have elected not to mess with it until the draw is over.

They scan paper apps.

They are running cards less than 12 hours after the CC update deadline.

Depending on the hunt code and past history, you may only need it as a 1st choice, but as mentioned, you can use the same for all 4 choices. Mule, they look at both choices in both the Bonus Pass and the 1-2 Pass so there is no instance where you would draw 2nd choice if the 1st choice was the same hunt code. Where people make a mistake is to have an easier to draw hunt as their 2nd choice and in the Bonus Pass, all the 1st choice tags are gone when they get to your number and you draw the 2nd choice. You are then out of the draw and never get to the 1-2 Pass where you would have had a chance at the 1st choice tag.

Despite what has been written, you will be in the Bonus Pass regardless of which unit you apply for because you have more than zero points. Going off your comments, you do not have enough points to draw the early archery in the Bonus Pass because you don't have enough points to be in the max point pool(s) for that hunt and the 20% Bonus Pass tags will have been drawn when they finally get to you and look at your 1st choice (early archery). At that point, they'll look at your 2nd choice, late rifle, and if there are tags left, you'll draw in that Bonus Pass drawing, assuming you have the points to be in the max pool(s). Having drawn the late rifle in the Bonus Pass, you will be excluded from the 1-2 Pass (random) where you would have a slim chance at the early archery hunt, mentioned by Flatlander. In the 1-2 Pass, you'll have new random numbers generated, keeping the lowest, and nobody is sorted by points, just that lowest number. That's your chance at the archery tag, hoping you get a low number. The upside is that with 6 points you'll have 7 numbers; a weighted advantage over those with fewer points. If you only want the early archery, list it as your 1st and only choice. Based on what you have stated, your only real chance to draw that tag will be the 1-2 Pass. If you want to try early archery hoping nobody with more points than you will apply, but will be happy with the late rifle, list archery 1st and late rifle 2nd and assume you'll draw the rifle tag. edit; looking at your unit, you are a long way from the max point pool for your archery hunt. Your only archery chance is the 1-2 Pass and that is slim, looking at the number of apps. For the late rifle, they cleaned out all the NR apps ahead of your point pool in the Bonus Pass. Your point pool was on par with the number of NR tags so theoretically, with no influx from guys with more points, you have a 100% chance at that tag in the Bonus Pass.

Those three pools were roughly 30, 30 and 20 residents 1st/2nd choice apps.

Hunters Trailhead does a good job of estimating NR odds with a few exceptions. As of 2016 there is no reason to estimate, the numbers are right there in black and white. If you want your random odds, TopRut is working on it.

It'd be nice to see Garmin actually get back in the GPS market. You were on the right track with the Montera then you just gave up and started making watches.

The dept is probably required by the state to charge. AZ, WY, and OR all charge for every public info request/non published report I make of their respective dept's.
