  1. Stanley,

What I do not like about the auction tag's are that they do take one trophy animal that most guy's do not get a chance to shoot.Somebody else said that it is no biggie because there are lot's of trophy animal's.I have been fortunate to hunt coues in Arizona for 33 year's.What I have found is that there are alway's monster buck's that live in very thick area's that are very hard to find. Then there are a few that live in place's that you can glass them. These are the buck's that are being taken away from all of us that are not able to pay the big buck's. As far as the money that is generated. I have no problem with getting that money other way's , like adding a raffle tag.

  2. This is all good talk. Not to get off the subject, but I have a border patrol agent as a client. He takes his job very serious. The reason we have this huge border problem is not them.It is the huge neglect of the goverment for years and years. Now it has snowballed into a monster problem. My sollution is to annex Mexico (Just kidding)Although I do think we need to declare war on keeping are borders safe.

  3. I have done very hard backpacking trips for coues.I have driven down a road and a bunch of javelina walked accross, stopped the truck and stalk them with my bow and shoot one. I do plan on going to Texas to shoot feral pigs and deer.My point is hunting is hunting and as long as it is done legally,it is all good.

  4. I guess when it comes to using dogs I have two standerds. I always thought it would be fun to chase the dogs around and listen to them bay and watch the animal get treed .I am sure that when you talk to most people who have dogs they would say that the killing is not the fun part. That said,I was watching a hunting show this weekend were they were hunting for bear in north carolina. They were on the bears when they were coming out of the fields. The dogs had this bear so worn out that they were just chewing on him. There were no trees for the bear to climb. Finally the hunter walked up to the bear and stuck his pistol in his chest and put the bear out of his misery.I have seen the same thing on some feral pig hunts. I do beleive the theroy of all hunters standing together , and I do not judge those people. But that kind of made me sick when I saw it.

  5. Bill,

I feel for you, I am 42 years old and have had four knee operations on one knee (Sports Injury)I am still able to go pretty good. But I do not know how much longer due to lack of cartiledge.Last year after I shot my whitetail, the next day I saw three muledeer bucks laying down across the canyon from the road. Up drives a guy with his dad.The dad was in his mid-seventies and he had a champ tag (broken back). The dad could no longer walk, but he sure could shoot. Nailed the buck at 400 yards. The dad stayed at the truck while the son and I got the deer out.I got as much pleasure out of that as shooting my buck. What keeps you from getting a champ tag?

  6. A friend of mine was archery pig hunting years ago up by table mesa and was sitting on a big rock glassing. He noticed fly's were buzzing below the rock and got quite a surprise when he found a human head . When he called the sherrif they kept saying (you mean a skull). He really got there attention when he said ( no, I mean a fresh head). Long story short it was a guy from back east who had caught his wife with another guy. Killed both of them and spread there part's over a few states. Then he commited suicide.
