As others have said, a pair of old Penn Senators will end up frustrating you if you wanna go offshore for a few days. Get at least three rigs and practice your knots...a lot. I like Avet reels and Calstar rods, but you won't go wrong with Shimano or a USA made modern Penn. If you are in PHX Phoenix Fishing Supply is legit. If you make it to San Diego before or after a trip go to Squidco in Point Loma. Watching Craigslist is a good idea, I got my first salt water set up that I still fish today for a trade on there. Be careful of the dudes that want top dollar for the high-end equipment they bought in 1999 and never fished again...

Appreciate the offer.

Thanks to everyone who PM'd me, I found a local plumber and they are gonna do the repair next week.

I have a couple hours of plumbing work at my house in mid town Tucson. It's relocating a shutoff valve on the main line from city and joining an existing line to it and then capping off a supply line on one line and adding a supply line off another. Both of the repairs will require sweats in tight spaces and I know how it will turn out if I do it If anyone is interested in some cash before or after their day job please feel free to contact me and I can text you pic, or if you have a good reference please feel free to share it. The plumber I have used in the past at a previous home quoted some other work at my new property that was obscenely overpriced and overscoped for what I needed so I won't be using them anymore. Thanks for looking.

Will take it but I am in Tucson, headed through Mesa to Rim weekend of 4.20 for a juniors hunt if you can hold it until then.

This was a custom home built in '56 and we bought it from the original owners and did some remodeling last year. Like every old house there is some funky stuff going on. Here are some pics. First two are to reconnect the cut off line with old gate valve to main line (which is taped up). My old GC disconnected it because he didn't think it didn't do anything. It provides water to my front yard hose spigot. Last pic is to move icemaker supply line from hot water line (my GC is a genius) over to the right (cold) and cap off the hot water stub out. If someone in the know can let me know hot water to a fridge icemaker is no big deal please let me know, doesn't sound good to me I could call in my old GC who did this work but he was so frustrating I would rather just pay someone who knows what they are doing to fix it. Thanks again for looking.

Last time I checked any live ocotillo transplanted from the desert in AZ needed to be tagged/documented. You can get them at Home Depot but it is hit or miss if they will "take" after you plant them...and sometimes they will stay dormant after planting for a year plus before they leaf out.

Looking for a HVAC Tech in Tucson: Help with a Mini Split
Siwash replied to Siwash's topic in Classified Ads
Thanks Kyle, sent you a PM yesterday. We got it taken care of today though so we are all set. -
Looking for someone to vacuum the lines in a Pioneer Mini Split unit. Electric/install is all good to go and to the best of my knowledge/the manual it's pre charged with refrigerant, but the lines do need to be vacuumed etc. This is the unit in question and it's on a flat roof home in midtown near El Con: https://www.amazon.com/WYS012-17-Air-Conditioner-Inverter-Ductless/dp/B01DVW6BG0?th=1 If anyone is interested please PM me. I'm looking for help ASAP of course

Bump for a pic. This would make a great his/hers Valentine's Day present for that special someone.

We currently use the Food Saver "game saver" model. I say we because two years ago my gal helped me butcher an elk and she got tired of wrapping meat in freezer paper...a week later I got the game saver:) Primary use is for tuna and I butcher a pig or two every year and have used it on a Coues too. I cant figure out why but I would say 1 in 4 bags just doesn't seal well...I clean the port/get the meat as dry as possible, wait for the unit to cool between seals and have tried diff brands of bags, etc. The unit is just fickle I guess. I am not overly fond of it. 10+ years ago in Oregon I had a basic model Food Saver (plain Jane white) and sealed countless pounds of Salmon and Steelhead...no issues and it worked like a charm. As others have said for Food Savers the basic model might be the best.

Have a Zeiss Conquest with the same specs on a different rifle, decided to go with more zoom power on the rifle this was on for more diversity. Did use the VX3i to take a spike bull at 638 yds on the last day of the last hunt last year...it is a great hunters scope and the CDS really makes things easy once you get a load finalized.
