Curious if you were close to a lake when this happened? Sadly I don't get up in the north woods much any more but every time I see an eagle its on or near a larger body of water. It's been year but on more than one occasion I have had an eagle swoop in on hooked trout while stripping flies from a float tube on Chevelon Canyon Lake. Congrats on the bird!

I keep a battery powered blower in camp. End of each hunt day my pack, etc. gets a good dust off.

For Sale: Used Magnetospeed Sporter. $85 Two minor issues the price reflects: the 9volt battery box quick release latch broke on one side. It functions as needed and you can put a rubber band around the half that doesn't seal completely as needed. The bottom screw tension knob on the mount no longer works; I'm not sure it ever really did but in theory it puts more pressure on the lower barrel mount point. Neither of these issues impact its performance. Located in Tucson, would trade for W760 powder.

SOLD '14 Polaris Ranger570 EPS. This is a bench 2 seater with EFI, here are the factory specs. I have owned since Nov. '22, recently bought a new Ranger 1000XP. Hours are at 360 and miles are at 3K. Street legal with mirrors, etc. Insurance through Progressive is $99 annually. I changed the belt with a Polaris OEM/factory part just before my Oct Coues hunt. Coolant and front diff/transmission were changed Jan. '23, I have changed the oil a few times since I bought it at 2,450 miles and I have an oil filter/2 qts Amosil Synthetic that will go with the sale, along with enough Amsoil fluid to do the front diff and an extra/new belt and spark plug. Ranger was always garaged, comes with a full cover I never used and the rig has front/rear LEDs lights and a glass windshield and plexi rear. Tires were new in '22 and have about 600 miles on them. Spare included with the sale along with a Cabela's 2 gun case that hangs above the bed. $5,800. $5,400. Would consider partial trades on recent Leica or Swaro rangefinder binos, or a Swaro/Kowa/Zeiss/Leica spotter. Ranger is located about 10 miles north of Sonoita off Highway 83. SOLD Kuiu 4000 bag in Vias with frame/suspension S/M - Regular. Bag is in used condition with some blood stains consistent with several years of harvested Coues, javelina and elk. All zippers work. Frame and suspension are "older" but conversion kit was installed for newer bag style when I bought the 4000 a few year back. There is wear on the suspension as noted in photos, and price reflect this. $185 $165 in mid-town Tucson. Trades for R22, R15, H4350, or N570 considered.

TTT, price drop. Can drive this from Sonoita to mid-town Tucson for a serious buyer, but the most action you can see on a drive is the alley, slowly. Apparently some people fit this model in 8' truck bed with ramps...I have always trailered it.
