Thanks for posting this. I have been lazy about surf fishing when we go to Las Conchas and the wife has been after me to try the Oyster place out there, now I have a good reason to take her there.

Sometimes replacing the spring is all it takes to achieve the trigger you desire. I have some Timney triggers in a few rifles and one Jewell (holy cow it's nice), but in several others I put a $7 spring (looks like they are $10 now..) from this guy in AZ and I'm happy with the results in one pre64 model 70 and a few Remington 700s.

I have not fished with this outfit but people I respect do and I have been impressed with the pics they share and their stated experiences: https://www.fishonpuertopenasco.com/

Need to make room for other tackle in the closet and these two sets up need to go. Combined, they will cover pretty much all fishing scenarios for 1-3 day action out of SoCal or the Sea of Cortez. 1. $350: Penn Fathom 40NLD2 2 speed spooled with 100# suffix braid and 80# mono top shot (might be a #100, cannot recall but it was added on a trip in April) paired with a Rainshadow JB884XXH rod (7' 50-100# Fast action). Charkbait used to sell complete rods; they don't anymore and the blank alone is $160+. Reel is just under $400 new. Rod has not been on a boat, Penn was used lightly on one trip to rip some knife jigs. $400 for the combo, will include an 80# and 100# crimped fluoro leader set up with this set up. 2. $350: Avet G2 SX 6/4 2 speed spooled with 50# braid and a 30# fluoro top shot paired with a United Composites RCE 700 M-C 7' 20-40# rod. Outfit sat on a boat once but was never fished. New rod and reel are around $300 each, $400 for the combo. Would sell both setups together for $700. $650 Not really interested in trades, but might consider a nice revolver in .38 or .357 or if you happen to have a 26" Bartlein .264/6.5 blank laying around.. Located in Tucson. Thanks for looking.

Teaser's was the name of the strip club next to the AZ Sportsmen on 7th Ave/Camelback. The juxtaposition suited a number of commerce needs for me as a young man. I liked that intersection 20+ years ago, don't recognize it anymore. In my experience the Turner's in Tucson (formerly 2nd Amendment) has a respectable inventory for the necessities of hunting/shooting/reloading and the franchise overall has a good rep. in Cali from the guys I fish next to out of San Diego, who more often than not are from Orange County.

Consider the double egg loop set up. It's commonly used for salmon/steelhead but would work for what you want...rig the first one on your leader then leave 2-3' of tag end and rig the last hook...or vice versa...tie on one hook at the end of a long leader then add your second hook at the interval needed in front of your swivel connection. Usually the hooks are 3-4" apart but there is no reason you couldn't run the rig in the fashion you are describing: https://www.101knots.com/egg-loop-knot.html or do the same with two snell knots: https://www.animatedknots.com/snell-knot It's been a LONG time but when I fished the Salt for Cats I'd run the double egg loop with two 4/0 circle hooks baited with chicken liver on a 3' leader tied to a swivel with a slider swivel on my main line with a 6" dropper of 3-6 ounce pyramid weight and it caught fish.

SOLD PENDING FUNDS ----------- Sentry S3877 safe for sale, roughly 17x17x17" and 12x12x14" interior. Doesn't have any way to bolt it down, but it has some heft to it and I wouldn't want to dead carry it for more than 30'. Specs here but not 100% sure they are 1:1 with this one. It has a lockout key and 5 digit code, 9V battery powered. Everything works but the lower battery cover fell off. We bought it for passports, car titles, etc. You could get half a dozen pistols in it easy. $75 in midtown Tucson.

SOLD Huskemaw Blue Diamond 3-12x42, see pic from manual for specs/reticle, manual doesn't note it but the scope does have a zero top that can be set/adjusted as needed. Purchased from another member a few years ago and sold the rifle it was on...need to sell it before I am inclined to buy another rifle to put it on... Don't believe it was ever in the field, saw range use only for me and did track/reset when I used it from 200 -550 at the Tucson Rifle Club. Glass is perfect; light ring marks and there is some minor discoloring on the zoom ring that looks worse in the pic than in real life. $480 or would trade for a gen 3 + Glock 17 or a Beretta 92 FS.

TTT, will probs put this on Ebay if no interest here.
