My buddy and I were only able to hunt the first five days of the season, and thanks to Desert Bull giving us a starting point, we were able to find one to two groups of sheep per day. My buddy was able to shoot a ewe on the second to last day and I were as able to shoot a young ram on our last day. This hunt is a blast and I hope to go again soon.

We are going over for the first 6 days, will probably go again later in the season. Good luck, how long is the season? We have the whole month of February.

My guess he doesn't have a parallax adjustment on his scope. -
I would say that anyone that had that hunt as their first or second choice needs to make a call to game and fish.

Why the heck did you have to pay the pawn shop? That is their risk of doing business. It just doesn't seem right.

Losing Our Public Lands
azgutpile replied to rossislider's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
That's your interpretation of the constitution, but it's not the view of the Supreme Court. With regards to Arizona state trust lands, which are not public lands, we have done an alright job in the past, but expect that to change after last years vote to raid the state lands to payoff debts to public schools (Whole other issue). If you look at Nevada and you will see that it is very feasible that a state can and will sell off all of their public lands. And like said above, if the federal lands are turned over to the states, none of the states are capable of managing them and I guarantee we would see a fire sale. -
The scope has been returned.

I purchased this scope on sale from Cabelas last week for $750 + $55.00 tax and shipping $805 total. I was just going to return it, but figure I would see if anyone here would have any interest. I need to get $805 firm or I will just return it. Thank.

Just make sure That it has an adjustable objective.

Is this still available?

Many people who own scopes with parallax adjustment do not know what it is. It might be the most overlooked adjustment there is.
-
Are you shooting with a scope that has a parallax adjustment? It should be very minimal if you adjusted your scope correctly.

If you are using a COS indicator and ballistic app, then line of sight feature would be more accurate. If you aren't using a COS indicator and app, go with angle.

I bet it's sitting in the stock differently. Like kwp said, check action screws, barrel clearance and that the magazine box isn't binding up between the stock and action.
-
I say it depends on the stock your bedding. If it is ridged enough and will the bedding compound stick to it.

Where did you hear that they aren't indigenous?
