this is a 20 gauge over a 12 gauge?

Your gonna have to look under a lot of rocks. You never know, you might luck out. I know a lady that got a Mtn goat cape from someone. Won't know if you do not try
-
That is going to be tough. You will probably need to find someone that harvested a broken horn. Check the NM forum on Monster Muleys. Also try to find some NM oryx guides and maybe call some taxidermists in NM. Goid luck.

Age old question. Quantity vs quality. Concept can be applied to most anything in life

if you want to catch a "grander", a 1,000 + lb marlin, Hawaii, the big island is the best place in the world to do it. there is just something unique about the ocean currents off from the coast of the big island that result in more granders being caught than anywhere in the world. a friend of mine went out of Kona with a buddy and 30 minutes out of the marina he hooked and landed a 600 lb black marlin. it took him 1.5 hrs to reel it in. they went back to the marina for pictures and then went back out for the rest of the day looking for whales. I have been on two boat rides in Hawaii. Not even a strike. Once was out of Maui and once was out of Kaui. Good luck and tight lines.

Just Hawaii as far as I know

FYI. If you catch a tuna over 100 lbs you will not be able to keep it. The captain and crew will sell it commercially.

They kill 120+ inch bucks in unit 32 every year

Jazz that happens frequently. I am extremely surprised anyone from the states ever ventures down across the border

that is a lot of cochitos!!! if you want to try something different, check out "Arturo's diving and fishing". I think he charges $300 a day and is 100 miles south down in Puerto Lobos but if you go in March you will more than likely get into some quality yellow tail (20 lbrs). You can leave RP at 6:00 and be on the water by 8:30. Fish until 3:30. Get your fish filleted, back on the road by 5:00 and back to RP by 7:00. March and April are key months for big YT. One weekend last April we averaged 18 twenty lb YT per day over 3 days. We brought home > 200 lbs of fillets. It was awesome.

I got my daughter a youth rifle (7mm-08). it has an 18" barrel. I was a little concerned about the length but the thing is a tack driver (out of the box with factory ammo)

I always wondered how they were so successful at recruiting? I am confident S Miller knew nothing about this. Hopefully no victories/seasons are vacated because of this due to lack of institutional control. What say you now Casey? Oh, that is right, UA is not your school.

ThomC - why don't you go read some history books on slavery. Slaves had NO freedom. Regardless of what you might think, the NCAA does not OWN the student athletes and they most certainly do not OWN the student athletes parents. Yes you are clueless in comparing the two. Yes the NCAA makes a lot of money on sports but the student athlete is FREE to choose what they do. They are FREE to go do something else. I would encourage you to call into any sports talk radio program in the country and ask the experts if NCAA student athletes or their parents are slaves. They would probably hang up on you and then laugh at you on the air afterwards. I am not going to argue with you about this anymore.

You really just said that ThomC? Comparing student athletes that have a choice and are FREE to do whatever they want to being a slave? Clueless.

What to expect on unit 10, Sept 8th Antelope hunt
SunDevil replied to Viper's topic in Antelope Hunting
I think, generally speaking, for trophy antelope, the hunt is more comprised of 2+ days of scouting prior to the hunt than hunting for several days after opening day. this is not necessarily the case for archery antelope, archery elk, rifle deer, etc. the majority of rifle antelope are taken on the first day. if you find one you like it is best to keep tabs on him until opening morning. -
I have a 20 gauge side by side. sits in the safe. I think it is a savage.
