Wow. That is a big fish. I spent many summers fishing the Kenai. The biggest we ever caught was 52. How do they fish for kings on the Kenai now? Drifting or back trolling? How did you fish for the Reds? Lures or streamers?

The 2 day total was 7 Dorado( 1 at 30 pounds) , 2 YF Tuna & 53 Sails released, Wide open for sure. 2 square Miles of stacked up fish & Birds.. I Have fished Costa Rica the Last 3 years around 18 days per year and never seen anything close to our SC Bite, Amazing Get your Butts down to SC and Have fun

It weighed 13.2 lbs. not an accurate reading in the pic because the fish is not being held up by the scale. Off the chart sail fish bite right now in San Carlos. One boat released 50 in two days this week

If u r going to be around the fish lake area u should also check into Panguitch lake and Otter Creek reservoir

Panguitch lake generally has some pretty good fishing

I think my coues from 23 was about 240. We were at 800 so I hiked down and back up a 800' canyon that took about 1.5 hrs. But my buddy sat on 3 bucks at 600 trying to decide what to do when 2 other hunters came in from above and shot 1 of the bucks and scared the other two off. This was before "long range" rifles became more of the norm.

Hard to beat fresh Sierra Mackerel. Unfortunately it does not keep very well. IMO. Tastes like fresh water trout

Wahoo, ahi and Alaskan halibut are my favorite fish to eat. You got two out of the three. Nice job. Sierras are great the same day you catch them. They taste like fresh water trout to me. Are jack crevel any good to eat? No roosters?
