PAC12 wins for ASU today in both softball and baseball!!!
-
That's hilarious!!! Scumdevil fans pretending to know what college basketball is about especially after having a "good year" losing in the first round of the NIT. But your right we're just like the Wevils! Ha! look at you. acting like you know what you are talking about. the Baylor game was in the 2nd round. sorry everyone's Easter weekend was ruined. NOT!!!

+1 on the high end nikon optics. I also have the 82 ED and love it but it is a little heavier than others.
-
Nice Stan - just a reminder, the unit 9 early hunt this year is a muzzleloader hunt. good luck.

field scoring animals is a very challenging endeavor. for coues deer, what I have found in my years of field scoring and guess the score scoring is that I almost always overscore by +5 inches. for this reason I have come up with my own personal "minus 5" rule. very simply, whatever I estimate the rack to score I subtract 5 and that is the number i go with.

congrats on the win and congrats on finishing 4th in the pac12. from 3rd in the nation to 4th in the pac12. talk about overrated!

Coues Hunting in Arizona. . . questions from a beginner
SunDevil replied to bigfatbeginner's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
get some binos and a tripod and hit the hills right now. depending on what part of the state you are in bucks won't loose their antlers until the end of april/beginning of may. still a couple of months to get out and see some bone. get a lion tag and take your gun cause you never know when you might come across one. my personal favorite time of the year to scout is in aug/sept. the grass is green, the deer are brown and the bigger bucks are not in the thick stuff because of their sensitive, velvet antlers. the heat and bugs are tough but take a bunch of water, some sunscreen and a thermacell. good luck! -
wow - those are some nice halibut. some of the biggest RP halibuts I have ever seen. was the water to rough to venture out to the farther reefs that hold the bigger fish?
-
congrats Jim on a great buck and a cool video. I liked the shot of the "client" catching some zzzzs while the "guide" was glassing. been there, done that!!!

does the chess team sell the TCC out? No but it gets sold out when ASU shows up for hockey. Same with softball. And guess who wins when they roll into town for those two sports? You got it. Fear the Fork Lance, Fear the Fork.
-
Meanwhile down at the TCC this weekend #2 ranked ASU took care of business. Friday night: ASU 2 - ua ice queens 1 Saturday night: ASU 3 - ua ice queens 1 Fear the fork!!!
-
Meanwhile last night at McHale: Sun Devils over the kitties 81 - 77. Fear the Fork!!!

After the fall draw 15 pts was the max, 12 residents and 2 non-res. I would bet after the spring draw the max for turkey is now 16 pts. WOW - 16 - HOLY COW. Glad I already got mine.
-
I think goulds is up to somewhere around 12 for max points.

FINALLY something intelligent comes out of the state of OR. I did not know there was anyone this smart in that state. \"/
-
Paul, glad to see you had a good trip. That is a nice buck you got but the one you missed is a really nice buck. missing one like him would definetly keep me up at night. congrats! thanks for sharing and checking back in with your results.

not much noise coming from those Nogales North "die hard" fans recently. the precious kitties dumped their game to Cal on Sunday (currently 3rd in Pac 12) and the softball team was blown out by FL. meanwhile up in Tempe, softball team is still undefeated and they had two ladies selected as Pac 12 players of the week. FEAR THE FORK!!!
-
I got mine over the weekend.
-
those are a couple of nice bucks!

I have not applied in NM for a few years but it my understanding you do not need to have hunter safety and you do not have to buy a license. their non resident application fee is $28 per species I believe.
-
yea that is it. gee I wish I was as smart as you. must be hard to be that smart.
-
pretty tough to win on the road in the NW when your travel and practice schedule gets all screwed up because of weather. looks like the kitties and their "die hard" fans had their prayers answered with OR dropping their last two games.

I would check out bloodydecks forum. lots of good fishing info on there including hawaii.
