nice to see an ungraduated Pima College Lumberjack showing such support of our fine institution. -
gotta go with the christensen 700 in 7mm mag. I have taken 3 coues and 2 whitetail with it. with a neoprene sling it can be carried all day and not even know it is there. also you can put anything through that carbon barrel and it shoots them all the same. also the carbon barrel does not heat up when at the range so you don't have to worry about your bullets wandering all over the paper.

well one thing is for sure - there is going to be 1 less lion putting pressure on the deer in 33 this year thanks to Scout'm.

I have an uncle in UT who has been using a 22-250 for years to hunt mule deer and he swears by it. kimber makes a rifle in 22-250, also remington model 700, remington model 7, remington predator (new this year and all camo), ruger model 77, ruger number 1, the list goes on and on.

Wild Turkeys in the Santa Ritas??
SunDevil replied to bmf1321's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
saw 2 last spring off from redington road in unit 33. -
I use to go to all of them. Now the only show's worth going to are the Crossroad's show's. They have an awesome Phoenix show the first weekend in Dec. It is huge and lasts 3.5 days including a bldg specifically for class III firearms. The other shows (AZ Arms, McMahons and Termark) are a waste of time and money.

GREAT JOB - I tell you, them turkeys love burns.

just curious how this ended up in the shed forum? is it a hint as to what might be happening tomorrow night?

the first time my dad took my mom fishing she hooked him with a treble hook.
-
saw this on tv a couple of weeks ago. it was crazy. they showed the bowfishers and the camerapeople getting nailed in the head by the fish. a couple of times the fish jumped right in the boat. http://www.brackettoutdoors.com/cbhome.htm

Remington .22, 7mag brass,dies,bullets
SunDevil replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Classified Ads
mike - do you need anymore brass? not sure exactly how much I have but I have quite a bit of once fire remington brass. let me know -
hooked - you need to be a little more specific on this one. the draw odds for unguided non-residents were .7% (2 tags out of 283 applicants). the draw odds for guided non-residents were 25%. I am not sure but I think you can thank good ole' USO for that one.

better get out there and find the other one. as a set they would be worth some serious coin.

a friend of mine drew a sonoita muzzleloader antelope tag with 3 bogus points.
-
they are bogus points. a friend of mine drew his second antelope tag in 3 years last week. the hunt he drew only had 2 tags and he only had 3 points. as for me I had 15 elk points this year and still could not draw a early rifle elk tag.

yep - and then I pulled a Casey - after drilling the dog I turned and shot the darn beard off the turkey.
-
nada for me - took about 15 minutes to get through. congrats to all with success, especially the lucky dog of the day or should I say lucky rabbit of the day?

Whats missing from your collection?
SunDevil replied to 4Falls's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
that's exactly what I was thinking - you could do some serious varmint control with one of those. -
casey - hope you are not planning on converting the 7mm to a 257 because the conversion does not work on BDL models, only ADLs. Has something to do with the hinged floor plate. 7mm mag is a good cartridge and you can't get much better than a 700 BDL. let us know how it shoots. Chris.

a couple years ago while turkey hunting I dropped a dog in its tracks at 49 yards. I was shooting #4s through a mossberg 500 with a 30" full choke barrel. one and done baby - one and done. Casey - I am with CNS on this one and would recommend opening that choke up as much as possible if it adjustable and if not you might want to just cut the last inch or two off the barrel to open that pattern up some. good luck this weekend.

like I said - everyone on this site should be putting in for 34B Oct as their first and only choice

cabelas should be refunding the license money to it's customers.
