Green Mountain or Treager you can't go wrong. I have a Teton which is made buy Treager I believe. I got mine new at the NWTF auction. If you do end up getting one I highly recommend the AMAZING SMOKE tube, this will double your smoke. I'm spoiled now with my smoker!!!! I almost got in trouble last month cause my Nieghbor said she always sees me in the backyard smoking,,, my wife was like What the HEck, but realized smoking meat not cigars!!! Ha ha

Took the kids over to Nelsons Reservoir in the white mountains, did really well with just worms and bobbers. This was the best $4 spent on a cup of worms in a long time, just a half worm to spare. Probably had 15 or so get of the hook right at the bank and many bites. I resisted and did not take the fly rod so I could keep the lines baited. Always had a bobber bobbing, it was fun! Ended up keeping 6 because they swallowed the hook, trout for dinner!

Land owners and the future of hunting in NM
Couzer replied to Red Sparky's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Sounds like big brother wants his cut! I heard they are going back quite a bit years. Totally stinks for the landowners, looks like they will start charging taxes on thier tags -
Redman did you get any pics of your stuck truck?
-
Here is a pic I took last Friday of some Rockys in Greer. They were chilling right off the road, pretty cool seeing them in person. Have lots of trail cam pics of them. Looks like just one ram and a few ewes.

Bergers FAILED me horribly
Couzer replied to joelpresmyk8's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Sorry I did not read all the post, but Joel if you like the accuracy with the hunting vlds, I would recommend the target VLD's, I'm sure they will do a better job. I've been using the target ones before the hunting ones existed. From experience those target VLD's are very very very devestating on elk. -
^^^^^^ +100

Yea making a killing for sure, it was the same last year and they are still doing great! Kinda stinks that you might have a shirt and pants but now using a totally different brand jacket. I like their pants, very durable and lightweight.

It might be a tad smaller, I bought the synthetic stock one and it is extremely light and compact

So I have a buddy at work that is selling a 1997 Polaris 600 Indy for $700.00. I've always wanted one and this seems like a pretty good buy. I know nothing about these snow machines, so is there any advice on this particular snowmobile? What I know is that it is in great shape, track has about 3/4 tread on it, good belt on drive (new last year), 3 cylinder, winterized every year, has about 1400 miles on it, all original, clear title, tracks have been greased, oil injected I think ( has a seperate oil tank for the 2 stoke oil) says it is very dependable. I'm going to go look at it tomorrow, what else should I look for or ask?

i see they have dall sheep brown bear combo hunts. i think they might be the ticket yea I have heard a lot of guys talk about the Dall Sheep. For some reason it doesn't spark my interest, my Nieghbor had gone over and said it was a very challenging hunt. He did a ton of research on the hunt and hired a very reputable guide. Long story short he shot a illegal ram that didn't meet the minimum requirement. Got it taken away and the guide was fined. After his story and the difficult terrain he had to go through I think I could only do it once, and rather be on a brown bear hunt.
