So I'm jumping on the bandwagon to lose some weight before bear season starts up again. I weighed in a week and a half ago at 240.2lbs Today I weighed in at 228.6lbs This thread is to help motivate myself to continue strong. I'm using the Medifast plan which I have used before in the past. This is the best plan for ME to lose some lbs's. If anyone else has done Medifast and has tips and ideas on making Lean and Green meals please share your recipes. Also any snacks that are low cals. My goal right now is 199lbs, I haven't weighed this since High School so it would be nice to be there again.

Yeti, Grizzly, and Canyon Coolers What is the Difference???
Couzer replied to rossislider's topic in Other Hunting Gear
One difference I notice cause I was looking into to same thing. I believe the canyon has a lifetime warranty and the yeti only has a few years. -
Wow congrats on a awesome lookin bear!!!!

All the dogs beat me down the canyons I was glassing, think they need to make another season in the fall with no dogs! Nothing against them at all in fact I wouldn't mind trying hunting with dogs. But it would be nice if game and fish made a fall hunt without them.

Same thing hereWhat boresighter do yall use? A buddy of mine bought a cheap one from Amazon, which worked when he got it, but when he took to the range it did not work. Another question I have, do you bore sight during the day or late in evening? Thanks guys The same one sugarbear uses, can't beat it! Pull out the ol bolt and look down the barrel down range!

Make sure you unscrew your broadheads and keep them in a different compartment away from the arrows. Make sure bow is destrung and locked up in a case. Make sure bow or any sharp objects are not in the cab or in arms reach. All kiddin aside good luck

Also there is a pretty good company called Engine House of of I17 and Indian School that rebuilds motors bit like others said you might have a expensive core charge. Randy and Terry are the owners, you could call them for a quote for a complete overhaul, short block or even a long block.

If you want to try to buy a low mile used one call Buddy at Arizona Auto Parts, he can usually get a good deal on one. I have sold over a 1k used motors with lots of luck! Just another option. Tell him Devan told you to call.

Yes I use it, works great but the only advantage I see by doing this on a "fixed ring and base" set up is that your using les rounds sighting it in. Basically your rifle is going to shoot where it's going to shoot, so your going to have to adjust the scope anyways. So is there any benifits? Not really unless you are using a Leupold left and right base adjustment which is kind of old school to the new rings being produced. Also I guess one more advantage would be if you were using a moa base like 20, 30, or 40 you could be assured the cross hairs are sitting more center up and down in the scope where the glass is at its most clearest point. Sorry for the long winded explanation , but I have thought about this a lot, do I still do it? Yes I do just because it makes the sighting in process easier. But that is really the only real big advantage
