Alright I'm jumping back on the this thread, thank to Mulepackhunter and healy for keeping this thread going. Been walking and eating more healthy the last 2 weeks. I went from 245lbs ish to 195lbs four months ago and now weighed in at 235lbs 2 weeks ago. I'm trying learn how to continue eat healthy. Here I go round 2, trying to hit 185 before Christmas

So we hit a pretty nice velvet bull on the railroad, every time I go by I want to pick it up! It's just sitting there all by itself. Looks like it going to go be there a while. But I'm betting it will get picked up by some one. Can I legally pick up velvet antlers???

Yea it is to bad Tim, I just passed by it this morning, crows are all over it and looks like coyotes have been on it. Your right Sourdough, the laws are grey and I think it's all who you talk to. I was with a wildlife biologist in unit 1 when we found a 340ish bull and he kept it.

Probably only if I stopped, reported it and waited for them to show up which would not be a option to do.

Update, so I got a call back from the AZGF and talk to the Feild Sup. It was explained to me that it was classified as same as a vehicle hit, that since I was not the engineer driving the train that it could not be issued to myself. Going to have to let it be. Just a Fyi the Game and Fish Sup was really great to chat with and I respect the law why I can not pick it up. I had a ground check on the bull a couple days ago, ended up being a rag horn bull looking bigger than it appeared to be. Still a nice find
