Awesome job! Let see some pics of that rifle to!!!!

Is it just me or does that picture look photo shopped? That Jag looks fat, like one you'd see in the zoo, and his feet don't seem to be touching the trail. Yeah I think something doesn't look quite right about the photo too... Yeah I know what the problem is!!! IT'S RARE!!!!

Things your huntin buddies do that drive you nuts : )
Couzer replied to twigsnapper's topic in The Campfire
I have a buddy like that! Ha ha! I have a ex-buddy like that. Funny thing is to he has killed a lion, wt buck, and a bear in spots that everyone else showed him. But wait he is the Big White Hunter now. Never again will hunt with him! And he shows everyone the areas! And to add to this he sent me a text today, "thanks for the pic!" When i didn't send a pic of my deer i just shot because he would only ask "where area did you shoot him at? -
Great buck! Nice shot as well

I noticed a big difference on my Sps factory RUM. I think it depends on how you like your groups at a 100 yards? 3-4 inch to a 1/2 inch group? And just think as you go farther out to 200 yards, 300 yards, etc, the groups will increase in size. I bought 5 bags of factory RUM brass at Sportsmans, prep it, weighed it and kept the 50 that was more consistent in weight. Sold the rest on eBay. Now I can just buy nosler brass all weighed for cheaper than buying a bunch and sorting it. One or even a half a grain makes a huge difference in my opinion.

What you guys think about the Garmin MONTANA 650T
Couzer replied to game hntr's topic in GPS and Maps
I have the 60c which is the first one of the 60 series, can't go wrong with the gps map62. That would be my choice. +2 very nice models -
Here are some pics. These little guys go anywhere, and carry alot of weight! The deer seem to like them to, holding long enough to make the shot! In training

scope rings - need your help

Very true! A lot of bench rest shooters use blue loc-tite for the bases, just a extra guarantee they won't loosen up on you. Bruno recommends it, but you don't have to use it. -
I have a buddy with pack goats!!! They are bad A! Pm me if your interested and ill give you his name and number.

Be careful of what type of locktite you use! DO NOT USE THE RED STUFF! They make a blue locktite that is made to where you can still remove the bases if you want to down the road if you decide to change your setup. I only and recommend only to locktite your bases and not your rings. My 2 cents -
Happy birthday!!!! Hope you find a big MOOSE

Ha ha, now that's funny

Nice job Eric! How are the furs ?
-
Great area, but yes lots of quads

I could care less what happens, ban bait, don't ban it? It's not hard to hunt without it.

I was in 36b yesterday and what a awesome day! The weather was a tad chilly in the morning and cool through out the day, could not have been any nicer. Deer were active all day long seeing 15 does and 6 bucks. Grandpa who is 86 years old has the tag and was very active helping me glass deer. On a side note BP said activity is increasing very rapidly this month and be careful when out. I'm not to worried though!

+1 some leupold weaver style are good but talley and warne are the way to go for a nice tight alighnment. Best bang for your buck! You could look into a moa base as well with that caliber and scope. More adjustment than your standard setup -
