Location?

I wouldn't think so. If your ammo is loaded hot, or if your ammo is right on the edge of high presure I could see the CAN producing a little more pressure causing the bolt to be hard to operate. Do you have a chrono to shoot with and with out the CAN to see what the speeds are doing? My CAN's produce 50-100 fps faster.
