  1. Just ordered a Foxpro fury with all the bells and whistles. I never have been a fan of electronic calls but after hunting with a friend that has a Foxpro I have been wanting to get one. Mainly for calling for long periods of time, hand calling can be exhausting at times.

So what do you all think about the Foxpro? Any experiences with them?

  3. I am kind of confused about all those spotting scopes out there. Most people want to know about seeing bullet holes and not how far can they see clearly an animal. I' am interested in a gold ring compact in 15-30x or the excursion flp in 15-45x. Does anyone have any experience in these two or the cabela's 20x binoculars.

Everyone has their own opinion. Are you wanting to just spot or glass? In my opinion the best all around is the 15x56 SLC Swarovski bino and you can get a 2X doubler to turn them into 30x spotter you would want. This is in my opinion the best for the bang. ;)

    +1

  4. 1 in 8 is faster, the bullet will travel 1 full round in turn in 8 inches, so 1 in 9 is slower, 1 in 10 is even slower. Some bullets require a certain spin ratio depending on the weight. If they spin to fast the can come apart in mid air or even tumble. A lot of you reloading books will tell you the recommended ratio.

Reloading is super fun, just have to experiment with your stuff!!! But if there is any good advice out there, ask the benchrest shooters what they shoot and load developments they use. They spend a lot of time and a few bucks in shooting!
