I went up there with 2 buddies and we all shot buffalo's with our bows. Its not really a hunt its more of a harvest the animals are in a high fence area that is like a mile long by a half mile wide and quite an elevation change within the fenced area. There is a waterhole and most of the vegetation is dead from all the stag,hogs and bufffalo roaming in there. The staggs are really cool to look at and they seemed like they could be challenging with a bow. There seemed to be smart hogs that would run once they saw you and there seemed to be those that you could get into bow range with ease. The buffalo were fairly easy to get into bow range but we noticed once we shot the first one the tougher it was to get in bow range for the other two. The guy that runs it will tell you not to wear camo because the animals will run when they see camo. The buffalo ranged from 1200-1600lbs and i have to say the meat is awesome. He also has a walk in cooler on site and he will skin and gut your animal for a fee or you can do it yourself. He has a front in loader he uses for loading the buffalo. The stagg fee is based on the gross score of the animal and theres a flat rate for hogs until you get 500lbs or more.. the buffalo is based on weight.

Would you be willing to sell just the bow? Im looking for a carp bow and i dont need the arrows quiver or sight.

I also have a 19a tag and they should send you a map with your tag outlining the boundaries and all the state and private property land. 40 tags may seem like alot but i remember when they had 80 archery tags on the 1st and 2nd hunt. The bucks should be in full rut by the time the hunt comes around and it may get better for the 2nd hunt. Oh and by the way it took me 11 pts to draw this tag so you should be very happy you drew it with 1 point.

I own one and l couldnt be more happier..the z7 is very smooth drawing and is extremely accurate and forgiving. I didnt like the factory wood handle even though they came out with there slim version..mathews now sells a focus grip which is more of a no torque handle. Call dave @ ross outdoors if your interested in trying one out..he will set one up for you to shoot.
