We have a few jr tags in there so there might be (3) less Muleys in the unit when we’re done. On a more serious note I’ve spoken to both WM’s of the unit and both have said the muley population is the worst they have seen it. They added (10) tags to the December hunt to take away from the general tag #’s. I’m not sure adding 10 tags to the Dec Hunt was a smart decision.

21 is not what it used to be but there are still good bucks to be had. I think your 150” standard is fair but you can do better. I typically see 1-2 bucks every year in there that will go 160-170”+. Good luck!

Well the big man was shining down on us. My son was able to harvest his first archery buck at the age of 15. This is a buck I named "45" because he has 4 on one side with eye guard and 5 on his right side including eye guard. I had been watching this buck for months and it all came together for us.

Guys I was not there on the hunt but I've known Pat and Kevin for years and I've hunted with them many times. I've never seen them break any game laws. I'm sure if they knew the bull was hit they wouldn't have shot it. The guy stated it was a pass through so obviously they would not see an arrow sticking out of it. According to them they called that bull into bowrange and Kevin made a great shot. Kevin did fall out of a treestand years ago but he didn't sue any manufacturer. People need to get there facts straight before just rambling a bunch of BS.
