It was another great event. I picked up some fantastic deals in the silent auction and got the chance to hang out with some other CW members, I had not previously met. Thanks again to those generous folks who support our military. My buddy who is stationed out at Luke AFB, attended his first conservation banquet last night with his Free dinner ticket and won a nice Tikka T3 7mm Rifle. That I must say is just plain awesome. Thanks again.

If your going to the Arizona Deer Association Banquet on Saturday the 21st, they have my same setup in the silent auction. You may be able to pick it up for a reasonable price. Just a thought and it goes to support a great cause.

How much for the Zeiss?

I'm 6'1 and I use the Jim White Panhead and a Slik Sprint Pro tripod. I can glass standing up with it. You could be into this setup for $200-225 if you buy the items used.

Why are they requiring this? Is this for Tax Purposes? Not that I am bidding on these, just curious. I hope there is some really good silent auction items this year. Any insight on what is going to be avail in both the silent and regular live auction other than the high dollar tags? Only 4 more days to go.

Is there no guest speaker this year? I really enjoyed listening to Ryan Hatch speak during the seminar he put on last year, prior to the dinner.

Is this the trailer from ADBSS Banquet? If so, I know that one was loaded up. This is a great buy for someone looking to buy that trailer.

Thanks everyone for the help. My A/C was fixed today by Cool AC, whom I was referred to by JNOBLEAZ on this site. Hopefullly others will now have a nice list to choose from if there A/C takes a turn for the worse.

My wife is unable to attend the dinner now, so it will just be me. I put the word out to some of my military friends out at Luke AFB and I am just waiting to hear back. I am really looking forward to another great event.

+1 on George. I think a lot of his percieved arrogance was hyped up by the filming crew. However, in the end he was able to show that he was a genuinely good person, who is also competitive in nature.

I just got back from Alamo. It was an awesome trip to say the least. In 12 hours of overnight fishing a buddy of mine and I caught over a 100 Crappie and 5 Slot Bass. We kept 32 Crappie, all 1.5-2lbs and released all of the bass back. The water temperature was 73 degrees and the water was calm, the wind completely died down after the sun went down.
