My first job out of college was studying the Sonoran Pronghorn on BMGR. Saw a lot of cool stuff out there! Watched an F16 crash while we were working, that was a trip. Having 18 illegals give up to us to call for help was also pretty wild. As far as the pronghorn, the drought in 2001 reduced the herd from around 200 animals down to around 20. They rounded them up, put them in a pen with no predators and watered it. They have made a pretty remarkable comeback since and have been released regularly and moved to other areas to create other populations like on Kofa NWR/YPG.

Reports have been great. You must be getting excited huh?

YVRGC has been hauling water since early in the summer and never quit. It didn't rain in Yuma this summer at all in town and very little out in the desert.

Outrider got a couple of Jumbos the other day! Captain Jeff and Chapo with their 361# Bluefin Tuna.

Senior in 92 huh? Sounds like you're about the same vintage as me!

If we keep this shoot up they are going to make things miserable for us in the future. We need to find a way to police ourselves before things get out of hand.

Anybody try the Vortex Razor 12x UHD's yet? How about the newest Meopta 12x the B1 Plus?

Nice job brother! You've got some good luck my man. Its usually a lot more of a grind than that.

I know at one time the Swarovskis 15s were very wide in IPD. Has that changed with the newest model? If the lenses can't get close enough for my beady eyes I would rather have a set maybe a bit lower in the optics dept to get the right fit. I had Kaibab 15s at one time and liked them fine, but I think 12's might work for me. Need to try out some if the newer offerings. Maven sounds good. I am intrigued with their Japanese glass and USA assembly.

If you can wait until Cyber Monday there should be some great deals. Danner usually does a pretty good sale around that time if I remember right.

Slumberjack Big Cot has served me well for quite a while. Frame is still good as well as the main material you lay on but the trim material is shredding something fierce now after about 15 years of hard use and hot storage. Plenty big. We also have a Cabelas Army Cot. Its good too, not quite as big but so far so good after over 5 years.

Bingo! Thanks for taking one for the team. I'm usually the one being the dick about this. Sounds like the dude is an asswipe with an entitlement attitude who has no clue what hunting is about.

Fentanyl ain't nothing to f with! Don't know any of the details but most people who do drugs are good people. Their fishing careers are over. I sincerely hope they can get some help and their lives back in order. One of the deckhands from the last trip I was on admitted to me that on the last boat he got fired from he would drink 12-18 beers a day in the wheelhouse. People think drug tests are working to help keep them safe. Most of the time they are just picking off the potheads that either can't stop to save their life or simply don't know how or care about passing their drug test. All other drugs are out of your system in a matter of hours so unless you are a total fiend they are very easy to pass for most addicts. -
Sorry to hear about losing your loyal companion. Never easy. Hang in there.

and?

Heck ya, that's a good one! Congrats to Dan. Awesome report and videos, thanks for sharing.

Sounds like fishing has been a little hit or miss for some boats. Sorry about the slow trip for the Birthday boy Lee. Good luck in old Mexico!
