We got lots of hail in late July one day on my buff hunt. Was in my shorts and sandals after getting a shower down at the Park. Didn't even make it back to camp and we were trying a stalk on the herd that was moving north out of the Park. Learned that day that wool socks DO keep your feet warm even when soaking wet walking through slush puddles! Moral of the story is to be prepared for anything on the Kaibab!

This is me 365. Maybe a notch or two down once in a while. Used to be nice for hunting but since the silver came in a few years ago I think its worse. Can't turn back now!

Try to find fleece lined. Dries a lot faster than flannel if it gets wet.

Point Loma Seafoods down near the water off Scott St. There is another place that is bigger up on Morena Blvd Friars Rd/I-8 area but I can't remember the name.

Great bull! Big congratulations on a well earned trophy!

Same year make and model and I am on my third after two warranty replacements. This one has done pretty well but is starting to go too. Lights on the heater temp area are going. Driver side is out. 178K miles.

Used the voucher last spring to acquire the Barnes for my buff hunt. Great results. Got the ammo directly from my Regional office with the voucher. Most of them should have common calibers on hand. Might call to double check at your location but I know this was the case in Region 4.

Call them. My experience in 43b the sheep move quite a distance from most of the game waters once the season roll around. For the 43B guys there is a lot of sheep habitat not on YPG to look at.

Congrats on your bison! Mental challenge for sure. At day six I was just getting warmed up.

My experience was closer to yote, jmall, tombharvey than the OP but good on him for warning people who think they can go up there and do their own thing. Russ' nephew Cody was there with us most of the time and he is a great kid who worked his butt off to help me. Russ was in and out of camp along with his son. Other than 500 lbs of salt and C note each for Cody and Jacob I didn't pay Russ a dime. I was bound and determined to get mine and was indeed successful with two days left to go. I am grateful for all the help Game and Fish and the Jacoby family provided me with this hunt.

The whole site is offensive according to the federal government. Why you might ask? Because it falls under the categories of guns and sport hunting. Cussing should be the least of our worries but last time I checked nobody besides Amanda owns the site so it is her prerogative if she wants to censor your language.

There are about 5 or 6 million reasons why I would never live in Maricopa county. That is one.

Not sure about the tracks, but I do know a hippie foot when I see one!

Went fishing with family at Dogtown yesterday and on my way out had a massive coolant leak on my truck. Its stuck in Williams now, no mechanic till Monday. Any thoughts or suggestions on helping me get home to Yuma ASAP with my truck?

Thanks for everything guys! George Otero out of G & M Tires in Williams helped me get it fixed. Had to go in to Flag for parts. Ended up water pump was shot. Not all was a loss however! Fish were biting good and all the kids caught fish. My daughter's Frozen rod was the hot stick. Soak time of less then five minutes and it would get bit! Friends kids all caught their first.

Not sure, but my guess is maybe water pump. It is slinging water all over from leaking onto belt. Engine running not horrible, turn it off and it spills like crazy. One caveat is I am not much of a mechanic at all. Biggest job I've done by myself is changing a starter on an old Toyota pickup.

Pretty much all of the sheep north of Interstate 40 are nelsoni.

I remember when Dennis Connor and his Stars and Stripes out of San Diego kicked the crap out of the Kiwis when they brought that GIANT boat. How better to beat them than by flying a hull with that big old catamaran they built and sailed!

Pronghorn are unique animals that look similar to true African antelope but are in their own genus alone. Pronghorn are the only species I am aware of that shed only the sheath and retain a bone core. True antelope retain the horns like cattle or sheep.

I'm in the market as well but I am nearsighted and don't wear contacts. Have had two pairs of Smith (Action) Optics. Need new ones again. Its between Smith and Maui Jim. Looking at Maui Jim Stingray with bronze glass lenses depending on the price. May end up with 3rd set of Smiths.
