I checked "the" reference for mammals in Arizona here at work. Here is what Mammals of Arizona by Hoffmeister has to say:
-
Plenty of coons all over the state. I don't believe they are non-native. Possum yes, coon no.
-
Wow! Congratulations on an outstanding buck! Can we get a little more of a story?
-
I like to give thanks to the Almighty and take some decent pics if possible. My cousin does the sprig of something in its mouth, which is kind of cool. Celebration is to be had back at camp once the work is done. Oh I almost forgot...a big pinch of Copenhagen between the ol cheek and gums feels dang good while doing field dress chores.

Good work man! Cow elk can be as hard or harder to kill than bulls IME. Thanks for sharing!

Great job! Congratulations on an outstanding hunt!
-
Good golly miss molly! That's what its all about right there boys!

Thats it. If you are going to be in the blind ALL day, you might as well be comfortable. You won't be able to recline quite that far but maybe 3/4 of that and you can relax pretty well. You can actually get it back upright pretty well without making a lot of noise.

Phil do your self a favor and get a zero gravity type chair. Russ has them in all the blinds. Some in not the greatest shape. If you have your own you know it won't be thrashed.

Kaibab archery Cow Buffalo - aug 12th---25th

Spring hunt probably if I wanted a bull and had a do over. You get more time and the bison are spread out over a larger area however the weather could suck and you might have a lot of company on the warm weekends, especially as the end of the hunt approaches. Notice that the Spring hunt will end on June 1st this year. Following that hunt will be two, two week hunts with 12 any bull tags each. The weather and movement should be good but that is too many people trying to hunt such a small area at once. Now that the July hunts start a week later I would avoid those hunts for sure. -

I'm sorry to hear things didn't go your way. This hunt is not for everyone and I'm not the biggest fan of the way things work either. That said it is us nly going to get worse. The timing and additional hunters are not favorable changes for the hunting experience IMO. -
I agree 1000% with Ed F. I don't always use 100% Fair Chase rules myself but that right there is a bit much.

I like Yuma and I love the Colorado River. Plenty of places to swim around here. My lab does just fine here but he was born here, like me. Its nice to be less than 3 hours drive to the salt water also. We can be at the Sea of Cortez in about 90 minutes and the Pacific Ocean in 2:45. Metro Phoenix is the same distance the other way. All that said if I could find a job in the White Mountains making what I do now I would start packing yesterday.

Saw a picture of Standman from here in my email from Game and Fish for Catch of the Week. Congrats on a nice walleye Brian!

8owhunt247 there is a link to an Instagram pic a few pages back. Definitely not trying to get in the middle of this pissing contest though. Carry on fellas.
-
I would guess at least high 160s. He's an incredible looking sheep regardless of score. Nice pic, thanks for sharing!
-
Very nice trophy! Congratulations!
-
Right on! Can only imagine how intense 100 bison coming at you would feel! Congratulations and thanks for sharing with the group.
-
I didn't note any particular model but trust me two will fit in a Primos XXL.
-
After spending close to 150 hours over 12 days in a blind recently I would definitely say zero gravity type chair!
-
Not sure but I know that two guys from Yuma that did hire Russ on the last hunt did not get one.
-
I think the final tally was two young bulls and one cow so 3 for 10. Tough conditions with rain almost every day. Two tags filled on the last day. One thing for sure is these hunts are not for your average weekend warrior. Takes a lot of commitment to get it done or a ton of luck probably a lot of both!
