I'm sure Yuma is way too far but Specialty Sewing Senter does all kinds of work like that for all the snowbirds with their RV awnings and whatnot. Took care of my wall tent for me when I ripped out some grommets. Worth a shot if you have no other options.

I hate using the word because it is so played out but the Kowa 554 is AMAZING! Absolutely unreal for a 55mm spotter weighing under 2#! Thanks for the encouragement.

My local SW has 7 Mag out the yin yang. 7mm-08, not so much. Haven't seen that on the shelves for over a year.

You buy a lifetime license as a resident and they honor it. Simple as that. You pay NR fees but do not get booted by the up to 10%.

Buck released a special Buck of the Month 113 today. 154cm steel, rosewood handles, limited run. SWEET knife! If I didn't already have one in S30v I would get one.

I like Buck knives. 113, 117, 105, 212 or one of the Bucklites are all great fixed blade knives for hunting.

HyNoon maybe thinking of Nate Danforth?

Chris did my buddy's and it came out great. Shipped it to MI for him and arrived safe and sound. He's good to go for sure.

School Me on Blackhorn Powder? Is it worth it?
Heat posted a topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
I am just getting started with Muzzleloaders and have seen this mentioned quite a bit. Seems maybe a little hotter and maybe more consistent than other powder. Also hear you can shoot without cleaning after each shot, which may or may not be the case with something like 777? Can you guys share your experience with it and if you think its worth 3 or 4 times more than other loose powder? My only experience is with White Hots so far which work but I have heard they come apart sometimes. No experience with that yet but did see some in a package that were breaking apart once. Thanks! -

This stuff seems to be trickling out a little by little now. I sort of can't believe it but I bought some local today. -
Muzzleloader Dec. hunt Units 39-42
Heat replied to codywyoming's topic in Muzzleloader hunting for Coues Deer
I don't really think there are many Coues with the exception of a very small area where you might encounter them. I've only heard of one whitetail being killed on that hunt but I'm sure there are others. I would concentrate on mule deer if it was my tag. -
Careful when ordering ammunition that is delivered by UPS

Ordered powder and primers shipped to store to Cabelas and it never showed up. I think someone helped themselves to my order. -
We just got ours less than a week ago. If the mail is a little slow in your area you might give them some time. When is your hunt? I'd be sure I had my tag in hand at least a month before the opening day of the hunt if possible.

It's mexicana, not mexicali. That's all I'm going to say about this one.

I have been buying 209 primers at Sportsman's Warehouse and CAL Ranch. CAL Ranch local store had CCI209M until recently. Local Sportsmans still has a bunch of the Cheddite Clerinox shotshell 209s. Might be in the valley on Saturday. If you are still in a bind as of Friday night, let me know. I can help you out.

If anybody believed that there wouldn't be game cameras out there after that rule passed they are delusional.

Finally found some online that wasn't as high as ordering from Hodgman. Also had my inlaws pick some up to bring me this winter. They found it in their local Walmart. Supposed to have an order for pickup at Cabela's with some Blackhorn in it but I am not holding my breath on that one. I should be good for a little while. Thanks for the input guys. -
Just want to give Leupold some credit where credit is due. Let a buddy who is a new hunter borrow my .270 for his first deer hunt. Took a bad spill and dropped my gun. Scope and stock got the worst of it. Called Leupold to see what we could do. No questions asked they put the parts I needed to fix the dented eyepiece in the mail. Received them yesterday and the eyepiece is back to normal. Service like that is becoming more rare and they still make their scopes right here in the USA! Bravo Leupold! I will always consider them when looking at optics!

Actually there are some great boats and skippers in the fleet that will fish their butt off and do the absolute best for the customers but there are others that go pull that crap that I mentioned above and without a lot of time in and around that "scene" it can be tough to separate the good from the bad. One boat I was on we had a great crew and a great trip two years . Next year same boat different crew total nightmare from what I hear but I wasn't there. I was in Alaska but I trust the source.

Ya until the warm water settles in and things regroup they will probably be paddy fishing. Especially now that the dorado have showed up. Get your passengers 2 doritos off a kelp with a satellite beacon and head to the house. Maybe get lucky and find one with some yellows on the way home. Easy money.

Fished out of Ensenda back in like 2002 or 2003. Booked 12 passenger boat for 4 of us. Tried tuna fishing but nothing was biting. Hit a bank for all the reds and lings you could catch. It was similar to a 3/4 or full day trip from San Diego. Great experience and super cheap. I think the whole boat was around $500 then.

Looks great!

My wife bought herself one of these. Great pistols. I can rack the slide with one finger on the rear sight. If your loved one has a hard time with semi auto pistol slide, this is for her (or him, lol!).

I only have experience with Meindl comfort fit but I think that is what you want vs vakuum fit if you have wide feet. I am between a D and EE most of the time but D is fine in my Meindl boots. I have EE in Redwing steel toe boots. Also the sizing is kinda weird on the Meindl. I would read all the stuff on their site and print off their guide and use it. I followed that and got pretty good fit.

Meindl wide is pretty wide.
