I saw a post on Facebook the other day that said Bear Mountain in Mesa had some.

If you shoot a coues this year and don't want to have it mounted, I would like to trade the cape for a euro mount. Looking for something in the 70" or larger range. Please let me know if you might be interested and I'll give you my number. Someone in the east valley would be prefered, but I would really like to get my hands on a decent cape this year. Thanks Brian

I’d be willing to pay for one as well.

back to the top. Its always good to get the gun permits submitted earlier than later. If you are thinking about one of these hunts, please let me know.

Dang good buck for a first! Congrats to both of you!

Congrats! I can't wait until my boys are old enough to hunt!

Sorry I never saw this post, There is no additional cost if you want to bring other people with you.

Thanks for adding your pictures to this post! Orlin killed the best buck on the last day of the hunt in our group.

In my younger days I worked at the skateboard shop right across the street. We would go to AJ's at least 3-4 times a week to get pizza. They sold it by the slice back then and it was delicious! No tsure if they still sell it like that now though, its probably been 10 years since I've been over there.

The first ranch I am not sure. Last year part of our group hunted the ranch next door to this one. While they were down there they talked to the ranch owner and he offered to sell his tags to us for the 2020 season. Only one buck was killed close to the fence line and it happened to be drop tine buck. He was around a 90"-95" buck if I remember right. The second ranch we averaged right at 100" both years that we hunted over there. Both years some bigger bucks were missed and they should be out on the property still. In 2018 the largest buck killed on this ranch was 107" broken and in 2019 it was a 110" buck.

Yes. There was a group from here that went down last year.

I’m pretty sure most taxidermist use other forms and shape them for coatis. That’s one of the reasons they are so dang expensive to have mounted.

They will be in the picture with the hunter, not the trail cam pics.

I agree with you. I am in the process of buying a ranger crew from them right now. Ryan at the casa grande store was super easy to deal with and blew everyone else’s price away. I ended up with a bunch of extras for the same price as just the machine from other dealers. Iron City is the way to go!

Sent you a pm. Where are you located?

I sent him a message about this rifle awhile ago and never heard back from him.

Anyone have a 22-250 (or maybe a .223) they would like to sell? Looking for something fairly inexpensive and preferably rem 700.

Congrats to you and Taylor! Sounds like a lot of walking but memories that will last a lifetime.
