Bullet selection questions
azphil replied to CatfishKev's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
If you reload- i've had good results with Nosler Accubonds - 140gr deer- 160gr elk -
The original question should be- Why are all these roads being closed in the first place? If they want to not maintain the roads and let them degrade- why bother closing them? There may be some logic for closing some roads but when you have to drive a 3 mile detour because they close a 1/2 mile stretch of good road -that is ridiculous - 6ASouth. It is a piss off when you walk 1 mile down a "closed " road only to find vehicles have driven in.

We got left over MD tags for 30A- I didn't realize how bad land access is in that area
-
We ended up with left over MD tags for 30A -- never been in there. I've heard there are access issues with all the private property in that unit. Any suggestions on accessable roads or landowners that might allow access?

I got mine on Amazon prime- look up your part # per quad model- no freight- also no core to deal with- just donate it or recycle it- AGM for sure
-
Only use the silver tarps- you can get them at Harbor Freight pretty cheap. I've used those for 5 years- plastic and seat still like new. Those tarps will last about 6 months.

I have 3 brand new G5 125 gr. Montecs that I will never use - make offer

I had my P89 stolen from my locked vehicle in Phoenix. It was recovered 1 month later and I got it back, with mag with no problems. Great job Phoenix PD.

I'm pushing 66 and still in relatively good health. I still feel motivated to get out and do things. I am still looking to take my first coues this fall. I've passed up several spikes and forkies in hopes of a nice buck. I am going to retire from full time work next year and hope I can find enough things to keep me busy. Scouting and putting up cameras this weekend. You have to have something to look forward to and enjoy what you are doing - make the best of whatever time we have left. I wish the best to everyone out there.and prayers to those who want them.

Saturday April 16, 2016 - Starts at 8AM Miller Road shooting area clean up- man is it trashed. I always take an extra trash bag and fill it when I use the area. Time to give a little back? More details at AZGFD

I had mine done 17 years ago - still 20/20 right eye 20/25 left eye and my eyes were REALLY bad. I also agree with the "best money I ever spent" conclusion. Moretsky and Cassidy did mine. A friend just had them do his eyes and he is more than pleased with the results. Use a reputable facility and you won't regret it. Good luck!

I got a '96 300 TRX 4x4 Honda fourtrax. Amazing where it will go.

Verify your coolant level as that is what stabilizes the oil temp. Pete's is good.

RG 22 revolver. Horrible pistol- sprayed lead or powder out the side of cylinder. I didn't feel right selling it to anyone so I got $50 for it at a police buy back program.
-
Now that was uncalled for - but funny.

I wouldn't use a predator type call if you 're serious for deer even though deer will sometimes come in to investigate. If you have a caller with deer or fawn bleats it could lure in both. Good luck.

Cabelas has the FoxPro Wilfire 2 on sale for $149 starting this weekend

Diverse area and wildlife- nice

Stick with the old school engine and technology as long as you can. Cheaper to repair and more dependable.

My cousin gave me a pair of snake boots but in hot weather, in no time at all, your feet are swimming in sweat- wore them once
