He's in Oregon. Bob make sure to have plan A, B, C, D, E etc. If the high country gets a ton of snow or rain on that snow, Tonto Creek may be flowing and uncrossable. If that happens you will have to move east towards Young highway. I'll let you know how our HAM hunt goes.

My friend lives in a remote subdivision and asked 1 G$F guy about archery hunting on his land. He said "it may be legal but what would your neighbor think if a deer or pig dies in their yard". I'm sure we'll hear some different answers here.

When I 1st got my BPS 28 a few years ago I thought I would use it for quail. When I go for quail I want to kill quail. The 28 did not do it for me. I love the 28 for dove though.

Ok I think I remember from another earlier thread that it was 7E. My friends son and buddy hunted that same hunt as you. They finally got it done on the 5th day. Elk can hide pretty good when they want to.

What unit were you in? Looks like you had fun and put in the effort. Positivity and luck are right up there with effort. Keep working at it and practicing with the rifle. You'll get there.
