.243 and see if 80 grain or 100 grain shoots best. My BAR shoots tight groups with 80 grain. 100 grain walks up the target. Make sure they can see thru the scope. Might have to put a cheek pad on so they can see easier.

Hot water heater is out after about 16 years. Can anybody recommend reputable company for install?

I never understood why they called them hot water heaters why would you want to heat hot water shouldn't they be called cold water heaters? I see I'm a little late next time I can help you get a good deal on a new one. I haven't bought a new one yet.....50 gallon electric......let me know!

My girl shot one in 7 one year and it had a growth on the neck. It was the consistency of the pad on a dogs paw.

Electrical grade acetone and a super soft cloth will clean lenses if they are that dirty. I always seem to get water and crumbs in my eye cups. I just ordered Swarovski field cleaning kit off Amazon.

I've only missed one or 2 opening days in the last 40 years.....My oldest girl will miss Sept. hunt but we will take her on the late one. She's starting 1st year of college.

I've used Buck knives for years. I always have to use a hand sharpener when skinning. I may get rid of therm and get some of the Benchmade Hunt series. Better steel that holds an edge a lot longer.

My wife's Great Uncle 'Bud' Lon Ellington passed away recently at age 85. Some of you here may have run into him flyfishing in the White Mtns or may have used his flies. His most famous is the Arizona Peacock Lady. My wife still has a mouse fly made of elk hair that he gave her about 20 years ago.
