So are we supposed to tell people we see on closed roads? Do we just look the other way? It's kind of like yelling at the guy speeding on your street to slow down. He's either going to keep going or come back and try to kick your butt, because he doesn't want to be told what to do. Obviously it will do no good to call Forest service or Game & Fish. They will have to catch people in the act to cite them. My elk area has lots of closed roads. Will be interesting for sure to see what other people do. Some roads have the closed sign on them but at the other end of that road there is no road closed sign. That doesn't help either. I have been up the last 2 weekends and nobody has really been in the area I like to hunt.

Pretty sure it was the Tundra pulling a trailer. It had a wildlife plate too. This was right before Munds Park where it goes to 1 lane.

This is another example of why you should always read your regs. and always carry regs. in your truck. I found a p dog town last weekend. I was pretty sure it had opened back up in July and checked my regs. right there which should have given them time to hide.......

We got cc hit yesterday. 1st choice 12A W early rifle. 2nd choice 23 early WT. Probably got the 23 tag.........

Most girl hunters especially young ones are very patient and don't have bad shooting habits. A .243 is perfect for deer out to 200 yards for a young girl. For elk you would want to keep a .243 under 150 yards and use a heavy bullet or move up to a .270.

Got my new Armalite M15 last week. Decided to go with Magpul stuff. Got a Leupold 3x9 Mark AR scope coming in next week. Still need to get a Magpul MIAD grip. I really like the Flat Dark Earth color. I will be using this for coyotes and target shooting.

I just called the Williams Ranger District office and they said they could not mail me a map of the travel management plan. Bosses orders until July when they update the map. However he did say if I was up there on a weekend that the Visitors center is open 7 days a week and I could get a map then.

I drew an antelope tag my very 1st try in 1985. Got another tag in 1992 and got my last tag in 2006 with 15 points. My wife however, is up to 18 points after this draw. I need to get her hunter ed point this year....

Got my Leupold Mark AR scope on. It's 3 to 9 x 40 with a turret for 55 grain .223 bullets. Added a Viking Tactical padded 2 pt. sling also.
