The Ruger 1911 is the next gun on my to buy list. They seem hard to find right now but hopefully later this year they will be easier to find. My son is hogging his Taurus 1911, so I guess I'll get my own. Thanks for the link Chef. Gotta love that guys beard......

We've always been drawn to Estes Park because of RMNP. Hopefully next year we'll go back and try to get to different areas. And I'll remember my binos........

We went to Colorado this past week for a softball tournament and vacation. We spent Fri. and Sat. in Estes Park until we had to go to Loveland for the games. We also rafted the Poudre River on Saturday. It was a blast. Found lots of elk in RMNP and in Estes Park. Fire on Thursday north of Heber. Lots of elk in Estes Park munching on grass and flowers in peoples yards. Found elk in RMNP. still lots of snow. Went to a Rockies game .

Thanks! We were driving around one day and saw a bunch of people snapping pictures by a creek. There was a big beaver dam. Very cool to watch them in action.

We saw this fire on our way through to Co. Had the helicopter with the Bambi bucket fly right over me. Glad they got to it quick.

We would of been out sooner but they couldn't find his fish finder in the back. They said they had 3 but the only one was the display. At least they will ship one to his house when one comes in..... What kind of rifle you looking at?
