We will be buying tickets. Sadie plays softball with my daughter on the Outlaws. Last week at practice she was wondering who had the FJ with the CouesWhitetail stickers on it. I talked with her about hunting a little bit and found out how much she has done and the animals she has taken. Sadie is in our thoughts and prayers. I'm hoping the softball world will come together for her too. I'm sure they will.

This will get interesting....... Are you on the BeeLine Hwy? How about "BeeLine Game Processors". Everyone associates with the BeeLine Highway. -
Neat story Coach. I watched the show and Fred did mention all the other hunters and public land. He gets a little too excited for my tastes when he gets something. Maybe it's just for the cameras......

#5 looks like a lion to me. Cool pics.

Wow, nice shooting man! Those baboons are scary looking. Do they attack you if you get too close?
-
It's almost like a molt. Someone from G&F told us this a long time ago. They will have bare spots from time to time. Also will see them with flaky skin sometimes too.
-
Let us know where you play, eh.

It shouldn't be a problem having him on the app. with you. If you are applying for Dec. rut hunts your odds are slim anyway. I'm sure lots of guys here get drawn for deer every year applying with their friends or family. We were told a long time ago by my wife's uncle (retired G&F computer nerd) that the best way to get drawn for elk, antelope etc. etc. is to apply alone. We do that for elk and antelope every year and most of the time with deer too. This way someone has a better chance to go. It works, my wife, my son and I all got elk tags this year. Put in seperate and if he draws you still get to go help him. Good luck!

Congrats to both of you!! Nice turkey!

Wow, you got a great area. Good job on the video. I have never found a bear skull.
-
Good job, you have it made then. May 8th will be 10 years for me that I have not chewed. I chewed for 23 years. Don't miss it. Only way to quit is cold turkey.

Thanks! If this new BAR shoots close to what my older ones do, I'll be happy. We will be shooting it soon.

It's a Browning BAR Shortrac Left hand 270 WSM. Still trying to decide which scope to go with. We have always wanted one of these in 270 WSM. Hopefully it will shoot as good as it looks.

Great pictures Ryan. I couldn't pick it out on my cell phone. Guess I'll have to give you gas money to keep an eye on him until fall bear starts........
-
Nice! Like all that snow too.
-
Of course, silly nephew.

Update: Finally saved enough to get the scope put on. Winning a 400 dollar Super Bowl pool helped alot. Went with the Leupold 4.5-14 x50 mm CDS VX3-L. When I figure out which load groups the best I'll call Leupold for the free dial set up for that particular load. We got 3 elk tags this year, so hopefully it will see some action. Here's some pics.

I haven't used the intensifier yet. I am going to get the Leupold flip open covers soon though.
-
Nice! We are going to try that someday.

I thought you were going to say 16 years later she is still my girlfriend........

Here's what I'm doing. Browning BAR Shorttrac .270 WSM and Leupold VX-3L CDS 4.5-14x50mm. I'm just in under 1300 bucks so far. Scope gets here Friday. My wife wears my gym shorts and my nike shirts but not my work pants.

Wow! Way to go. That fish reminds me of the time my brother in law hooked into one of those at Horseshoe Lake. We were in a coleman crawdad and it towed us around for about 15 minutes before it got tired. His fish wasn't quite as big as yours though.

Everyone must be gettin' a good tax return................

Hankook dyna pro mudders are getting good reviews for doing well in mud, rocks and sand. They don't chunk off like KM2's and others. They might be my next set. Discount can get them.

If I didn't already have 4 dogs......... Someone will take him.
