how can you tell from the available credit?

Because there has never been a early firearm hunt before the early archery hunt nobody really knows how its going to effect the two types of hunts? Could be good, could be bad, might not make any difference at all who knows? That's why the ABA is asking the commission and the department to hold off on making a bunch of changes let this unit 9 muzzy hunt run for a couple of years get some hunt data survey the hunters and use the information to make there proposals.

This has to do with a couple of the commissioners who think its not fair that the archery hunters get first crack at the bigger bulls at least that's the reasons they gave for moving the unit 9 hunt this year. Considering the success rate the early rifle hunters have over 80% in most units that have the early hunt, I would bet they shoot just as many trophy class bulls if not more as they do on the archery hunt. There is no good reason to move a high success rifle hunt in front of a much lower success archery hunt both weapon types have had great opportunities at trophy class bulls with the current hunt structure dates.

Hunted the rez this past weekend for a few days not alot happening yet hens and jakes together toms off by them selfs in the area we were in little or no action when calling maybe this weekend it will pick up some.

The ABA had been asked to concisder a reccommendation to move the archery elk season to a date where it would always fall late in September.
