I went back today to get the other page notarized, and the same notary was there. He said the guy walked in and went up to the teller and said this is a robbery then went and sat down in a chair in the lobby. The teller pushed the silent alarm and he came back to the window and handed her a note saying this is a robbery, I guess just to make it official. Seems like he just wanted to go back to jail. never pulled out a gun and was calm. At least it wasn't suicide by cop. That would have really sucked for everybody.

I hope Disney loses twice as much this year. Walt has got to be spinning in his grave.

I went to the Charlie Kirk memorial service today and I left the house at 5:50 this morning and got home about 7 pm. I did stop for a quick bite on the way home. That was the most wholesome and satisfying event I have witnessed since my innocence of youth. It was worth the four hours wait in traffic to get there. Personally, I am not a Christian, but it didn't bother me one bit that 95% of the program was about connecting with Jesus. It had me smiling so much that so many people were so genuinely positive and friendly. Only negative Nacy's I saw were the few people in the "protest area". That was a complete cesspool of trash, while when you passed through that area, it was a remarkable difference. RIP Charlie.

This past month has been pretty incredible for me and two hunting buddies. We all three tagged out on opening weekend of the December archery hunt with three mulies. Not giants for sure, but all we were looking for was to get some meat, and we did. First time I've been in a camp and had more than one tag filled during the archery hunt. Jan 1st and we were back out looking for Coues. We all tagged out again. It was pretty surreal, and we are all still in shock how it worked out. To us, archery hunting any Coues bigger than a spike is a shooter, so we were all three ecstatic! Gonna need a new freezer.IMG_5165.HEICIMG_5222.HEICIMG

I knew I wasn't the only one who has walked through Bass Pro and Cabelas and had the fantasy of flinging arrows at some of the critters in there. I still range em when I go.

Good looking offering you got there. If I ever lose my Toner skinning knife I've had for over 20 years, I'll def look you up

Looks like you found a place that doesn't get much human traffic. Cool find.

I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't be able to stay in that blind knowing a lion just went out of my sight when it's that close. Gives me the willies. -
Mine expires on Feb 2nd so I called and asked for clarification on how I should make sure I wasn't going to get kicked out if drawn. She said that if I buy my new license to start on the 3rd to do it online so their system will have the new number. If you buy it at a store that close to the end date and the draw then their system might not have it entered on time.

Something has to be done??? C'mon Trphyhntr, I love massive antlers as much as the next guy but sounds like you want to prevent someone else from hunting if they don't do it how you prefer. We all have our favorite style, or way, of hunting (archery, rifle, muzzy, long-range shooting, sitting water, spot and stalk etc). One of my hunting buddies doesn't care about antlers and has given away the antlers to all the deer he has ever taken, he is strictly a meat hunter. Sometimes I was willing to shoot the first buck I got a shot at cause I want the meat that year, and other times I have passed on the first buck to hold out for something a little bigger. We don't all have the same goals when it comes to hunting. You do you, and don't get your panties in a bunch if somebody else isn't doing it your way. Now, having said that, I hope you get a toad this year!
