    Bull elk in 6A

Thank you everybody for all the information. I appreciate the feedback and definitely hope to have some nice pics to post come late November...until then I will find the best bullet/powder combo for my T/C Omega!
  2. I was lucky enough to be drawn for bul elk in 6A Nov hunt this year, and will be using my T/C Omega 50 cal. I am relatively new to muzzle loader hunting, but really enjoy it so far. I am looking for some ideas on bullet size, powder type, and any other tips that I can use. Thanks, Jackmedic

    unit 20A

My friends and I were drawn for unit 20A. It is an antlered deer. I haven't hunted this area before. Any suggestions? I would rather tag a white tail rather than a muley..... Appreciate any pointers! Jack

    hunt in 20A

I put in for deer with some friends and got drawn for 20A, they preferred the "any antlered" area. Are there alot of white tail in this area? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jack

    Unit 22 Oct. hunt Question

I drove up for the morning to check out a couple more areas, I will agree Mt Ord scares me, the thought of all the people on the mountain opening weekend. I drove through from Payson towards Doll Baby and south to Rye, kicked up a couple with a nice shooter buck. I haven't hunted that area before either. I haven't found where they water yet. Not sure if there are any small tanks scattered around. I did see lots of sign while I was hiking, it was pretty warm today. Any hints on the water situation would be helpful. Thanks, Jackmedic
