My 2 cents: To answer the original question possibly on the cotton tail call. Something to consider, if there are more jack rabbits in the area (or vise versa) where you are using the call then I wouldn't use the cotton tail call. I usually don't have as good of luck! I am not a professional when it comes to calling, but the calling I have done, I have found that you have better luck using the specific species call indigenous to the area. There is a difference in the pitch!! Hope this helps! Good Luck!!
