Thinking about trying something different! Anyone shooting a 243 wssm for coues ? Pros/ cons Thanks in advance Whitey

243 wsm????? Based off a 270 wsm??? dang that would fly!!!!

I know these questions get a little bit chevy and fords, but I want to work up one all around load for a 25-06 I resently aquired. Initially I was thinking of loading a lighter bullet shooting really fast for coyotes, but really like the idea of one load for anything we decide to hunt with it...... With that being said, what would the experts recommend?????? Coyote, deer, Antelope, and pigs would be the intended game Thanks in advance

My 13 year old son killed a bull in there last year. Glassed 17 bulls on opening morning. You should be fine! ( lil shtttt) drew it again this year. He is already talking about 360 bulls!! Lol.

Hey coach, empty your messages! It said you are full or message me you contact Thanks, Whitey

Good input from everyone, thanks! We have a 300 wsm and 300 win for elk (we have a unit 8 rifle tag 14 yr old boy) so this rifle will be for everything under elk size. I am leaning toward the 110- 115 and using one bullet for anything we shoot at ! Thanks -
Kimber Classic 8400 in 300 wsm. I will take $850 for the rifle and one piece Talley rings. Trigger breaks at 2 1/2 pounds. ( no scope no bi pod). Would make some lucky elk or Antelope hunter a great rifle!!! Feel free to message me any trade offers Thanks. Peoria, AZ

One last bump to the top

Could not honestly answer that question in good faith. I bought it second hand.... I have shot it less than 20 times to sight it in for my kids elk tag, and then he used a different rifle. All I can say is it groups well with both 150 and 180 grain bullets!
-
Elk and antelope results should be out any time now..... Thought I would bump this back up!!!!! Good luck to all!
-
150 is 68 gr of 4350, 180 is a compressed load of rl 17. No pressure problems with either, but went with the 150

Ruger mkII stainless. Comes with ss rings, (no scope). I will take $550 picked up in Peoria. I am the original owner and this rifle is like new condition. Very low round count!!! Trigger breaks clean at 4 pounds Pm any trade offers Thanks

Ideally I would like to trade for cash, but I am always open to firearms or binoculars???? Pm any trade offers. " iNo thank you" is the worst you will hear from me!

I have two of these and they both shoot!!! I probably have close to that many coyotes to my old m77 as well... This one was purchased to replace my old one, but the old one still shoots 1/2 groups with whatever ammo I stick in it!!!
-
It shoots my 150 accubond reload at 3250 and my 180 ab reload at 3100
-
Is the trigger adjustable?
-
I got hit for two elk tags yesterday. Still hope!!!!!!!

I couldn't disagree more with the comment That you get what you pay for when it comes to a pure bread dog! As a matter of fact I would argue that most pure bred dogs have more health issues than a good old mutt. I have had over 1000 dogs and all my best dogs were cross breeds. On a side note, I would not recommend a hound if you do not intent to hunt it often! A good lab/ equivalent would make a great family pet.... Best of luck -
free bump for a fantastic product!
