  1. Been having a ton of good conversations/ arguements with buddies about building custom rifles........ and I know many of you have a passion for this.

However, I have 4 rifles that I paid $400 or less for (rifle only) that shoot stupid accurate!

Mounted a 5-25 pst gen II on my $400 savage 270 wsm yesterday and sighted her in.

Last 3 shoots after micro adjustments were two same hole and one touching.... off bipod and my fist as rear support...

my question is why spend the money...My Ruger American Predator in 6.5 CM does the samething.

    Thoughts?? opinions>>

  2. 270 wsm is one of my favorites.... just mounted a 5-25 gen 2 pst on my $400 savage and sighted in yesterday.. last 3 shots are about a1/4 moa. recommend the savage highly. My 300 wsm shoots well also... sub moa vanguard....

  3. Vortex Viper PST 6x24x50 ffp, ebr1 reticle, in moa. Glass is perfect, scope tracks in true moa, and returns to zero perfectly.

comes with original box and everything that comes as new.post-2950-0-37026900-1531675254_thumb.jpg

    $650 picked up in Peoria

(just sold the same scope on ebay for $725, but shipping and ebay charges are a pain/ somebody is getting a deal)

  4. A friend of mine is heck bent on building a rifle in 6.5. He asked me a question that I didn't really have a good answer for..... any info would be appreciated.

Why do so many people build 6.5 saum, when it appears that wsm brass is more available?

Is there an advantage with the SAUM, problems with the WSM??

    Thanks in advance

  5. I was planning on loading up some bullets last night, and opened up 3 different boxes of Nosler Accubonds and all of them look tarnished or burnt. My questins are: anyone else ever had this problem? Does it effect the accuracy of the bullet. I chose to hold off on loading until I get some answers or some different bullets. At any rate, they are stored in the garage, have never gotten wet, or anything spilled on them, and are a year or so old.

    Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks
