I visited their store for the first time last Saturday. A very pleasant experience. They had plenty of help to take care of customers and spent some time talking AR15....I am a newby to the AR world. I spent some money there due to the advice, prices and service. I will definitely be back...many times. I visited 4 stores that day, and they were the most hospitable, by far.

I don't believe any pack is completely waterproof....somethings gonna leak. I wouldn't chance it, especially if I am carrying a down bag...or any bag for that matter. i don't see carrying a rain fly as a big deal, they are really light. Dry bags are real light as well.

I have the Eberle X2...love it as a day pack. If you go ultralight, you might do an overnighter with it. A friend has the Team Elk and loves it. A couple friends have the Outdoorsmans Optics packs and swear by them. They do 5 day pack hunts with it. I think this is the one on my wish list. They are 7 lbs empty, just like the large Eberle packs, but have the external flexible frame. Watch some Meat Eater episodes to get an idea how they perform. There are a ton of choices. It would be cool to have all the top picks in one room, and a few hours to go through them.

Very nice! Great looking bucks!

I don't watch those shows. They are "farming" their animals. They plant hybrid food plots to grow big antlers. I hope these animals aren't allowed in the record books.

Daaaang! I'd love to do a trip down there before I take up the rockin' chair. Very impressive!

IMO the extra magnification is a big advantage, especially for small coues sized targets. I have a Burris 4.5 - 14 x 42 with the balistic reticle. It works well on my .270, but it seems most ballistic reticles are optimized for .30 cal ballistics. Buy the best quality you can afford...or save in a reasonable time. I keep thinking of upgrading, but the Burris has served me well so far. I haven't looked through a Vortex scope and not sure of the reliability of the two models you mention. I understand their upper end scopes are very good.

I would have taken pictures, including license plate, and texted them to the local AZG&F Ranger....for what it's worth.

Wife, son and I saw it last night. Great movie! Man...what those guys went though. My son just finished 7 years in the Navy. He cried along with us....and most everyone in the theater. Afterward, he said he felt his job function was insignificant compared to those putting their life on the line, and he didn't do enough. These kind of movies make you pause and reflect. I hope most Americans see this movie, or read the book. We could use a surge of patriotism. Thank you to all that served and are serving.

Not sure why you're selling it. I love mine. It's a great RF in this price range....best one imo.

Can you monitor what you are filming, or do you have to wait until you get it back? That is way cool.

This is a great voluntary service you are providing to fellow CWT folks. We shoud all get together and buy you many beers. I know I have little chance of drawing a good tag with a few BP's so I am asking for my buddy. He has 8 BP for elk and plans to put in for 5B-S Sept Archery Bull (cause that's our favorite area). What would be a good 2nd choice for the same hunt....4B, 4A, 6A? How about Rifle Antelope with 13 BP's? Thank you much!

Wow! Two bucks in 2 months?! What bow are you shooting...maybe I should get one Nice muley!

Does it hold up in high wind....40mph? I've been thinking of an "easy up/down" type tent. I have a Cabelas Alaknak 12x12 with the wood stove. I love it, but you have to pound 25 stakes in the ground. I can set it up myself....takes around 45 minutes.
