  1. Looking to sell two Magnetospeed Sporter chronographs. Going to buy a Garmin. These retail for $200 new and around $120 - $180 used, from what I found, so I'll try to price accordingly. #1 - works great, in great shape. Has all components. $100 #2 - this one works great. I "modified" it to mount on a pic rail extension, so it doesn't touch the barrel (included). I made the extension with a Pic rail QD attachment, to work with my CA carbon fiber barrel with suppressor. The bayonet will still mount to a heavy or sporter barrel as originally designed. We can make sure it works with your barrel before purchasing. Feel free to PM with any questions. $70 Pic rail QD, extension, and bayonet. Mounts to heavy barrel as originally designed. Mounts to sporter barrel as originally designed.
  2. I have two Magnetospeeds for sale...cheap, in the classifieds. Make me an offer. 😄
  3. I noticed last night that Scheels is carrying this now. I bought it "pick up in store" last night. Picked it up this morning. They had one left in inventory...fyi.
  4. So far, I'm impressed by the look and "feel" of quality. Comes in a nice semi-ridged case and aluminum tripod. The menus are very intuitive. It Bluetooths to the phone app. I blew my dart gun over it and it picked it up at 100 fps, Lol. I hope to get to the range soon.

    5A was a bust, sorta

I'm curious what day this happened, with the lost girl? Later in the first week (first hunt), maybe Wednesday or Thursday, we heard sirens...sounded like they were going down 141.

Wow! Thank God for timing and putting you in the right place. Life lesson for that little girl. Good on you guys. Cool lizard...maybe I should have said that first 😀 I had similar luck with turkeys the first week...in 5a, off 141. Seemed like every tom I setup on had hens and would not come in. I didn't have much trouble finding gobblers. I'm considering going back up for another try, but not sure.
  7. With different length extensions. Lol. It's inexpensive angle aluminum so I would make one for each setup. It was mainly for one rifle. For a muzzle brake I made one, then when I got a suppressor I made another. It's not the most versatile design but works on the cheap.
  8. No, sorry. It needs to stay with the unit to remain fully functional. It's pretty easy to make. It's just angle aluminum with a pic adapter attached with washers as spacers. You add/remove washers to align with the barrel.

    SxS users, dust protection?

I have a Kawasaki Teryx4 with the fitted storage box in the bed. It works great for keeping out dust and rain, especially after adding weather stripping. It takes up cargo space, but I have a front rack to put meat. I have emergency equipment in there and can still fit a large tripod, spotter, glassing chair, jackets, etc. Also, I popped out the rear seat cushions and put in a plywood deck, fastened down with two lag bolts. Easy to remove for extra passengers. The dog rides there, or everyone's gear. A back windshield and doors really helps but still pretty dusty.

I have this set. I really like them. Good price.
  11. Our long time insurance company is phasing out home owners insurance (American National). It expires May 23rd. Any suggestions/experience on who to go with? My main consideration is cost and customer service/claim efficiency. I live in east Mesa, if that matters. I am willing to go with a second company for ATV/RV coverage, if it saves money. A Google search shows some ratings, but probably pretty subjective. Open to suggestions/experience. Thanks.

  13. I better not let my wife see this. We are on our 3rd consecutive Golden. Great breed!

    RV Scissor Jacks

I use the expandable wheel chocks, like Matt described, and the diy 2x4 stabilizers: Makes my 5th-wheel rock solid.
  16. I have an opportunity to go on my nephew's Idaho backpack bear hunt in a few weeks. I will fly to Seattle to start our trip. Question is, what is the best way to travel with a large backpack with gear? I have a Kuiu 5200 and typical backpacking gear. Not sure I want to check it as baggage. May get all beat up, broken straps/buckles... Is it too big to be a carry on? Maybe break it down and pack in a suitcase? Definitely would want to "carry on" my binos and spotting scope. How do you all do it? Thoughts? Thanks
  17. May be a long shot. I put a Viper HS-T scope on a friend's rifle and we need more shims to set the zero stop. Not sure how many, but the turret turns nearly a full rotation past zero. Apparently they are no longer available from Vortex or vendors. Anyone have spares I can purchase? Preferably in the east valley.
