+1 on Tremble. Great free ap that shows topo and satellite views. For a small charge you can get overlays for: land ownership, street maps forest roads/number, Doppler radar, under water maps of lakes, and much more.

Men like your grandpa are a different breed, and such an inspiration. I have been fortunate to meet a few of them, and have been humbled to be able to know them. If I ever get to meet your grandpa it will be a great honor. Thanks for making this awesome post!

Bullet grain for 300 RUM
Pine Donkey replied to craigster's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
You might want to take a look at 208 AMAX pushed by Retumbo. I would be surprised if you could get a 165 bullet, moving at 3500 gps, to group very well. -
Roll it up fur side out. Make sure no hide is showing. Put it in a ziplock bag and squeeze out all the air. Toss it in the freezer and it will be fine for a year or two.

Here is one that was posted several years ago. Jamie (MCElk) called in and shot this badger. As he picked it up he heard a snake buzzing. After searching around he realized it was above him. Some people would leave the area, others would quickly kill the large rattler, Jamie saw it as a photo op.
