Beautiful tall three point! That soreness is just the price you pay to get away from the crowds. Congratulations on a nice buck, and welcome to the best site on the web. -

Blue Ridge High Looking for Another State Championship
Pine Donkey replied to Coach's topic in The Campfire
Coach, you have no idea how right you are. My youngest just finished his senior year of football a few weeks ago. He had a great season and was awarded as the defensive player of the year, as well as scoring 12 touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball. He is a better athlete, and a better hunter than I ever was. He is not interested in pursuing some of the college requests he has received from recruiters. He has baseball in the Spring then he will be done with competitive sports. It gives me a lump in the throat just thinking about it. Watching my three kids play sports all their lives has been a huge part of our family activities...I will always cherish those times, but wonder if I will be able to fill the hole once those days are over. I would love to meet you boys someday, they sound like great kids. Enjoy every minute, they pass so fast. -
That's a good looking buck. Pretty cool you were able to take him with a muzzy.
-
Great bow kill!

Thanks for posting this great story! That is a nice bunch of bucks. -
A couple of buddies are on the November archery bull hunt right now and are in the middle of crazy rutting activity. The bulls are bugling like crazy, they are sparing, and tearing up the trees. The bugling is going on all day long? these are the big bulls, not the small ones. They are not coming to calls and they do not have big groups of cows, but they are active and vocal. What is happening is year? Hope it is still going on in two weeks.

I am thankful for wonderful family and friends, the beautiful outdoors, and having the health to enjoy it all.
-
A bull with a bow in November is quite an accomplishment! Congratulations!
