Oh ya, I can imagine what 76" of mass looks like on a bull that's in full velvet. Seriously, I've always wondered how much difference there is after it sheds off. I know I got duped last year with my wt buck so I'm just wonderin....... What an awesome bull to be a 6x6 and be that big.... Can't wait for the good pics.

Ya it was two years ago that I was on him with a client but we couldn't pull it together. Closest we got was about 90 yards, he had to damned many cows. As far as I know that bull never has been killed though. I think someone in the know would have told us and we woulda seen pictures by now. I'm sure he's burpin up some delicious gut juice as we speak. Probably gonna tear up somone's trees they just planted this summer in about a month too. My buddy Gail and I went out on Saturday and we each found 3 wt sheds. It was HOT but we still managed to pull out a few each. Here's my brown find to start the day off.... This one stayed where I found it. It was basically a shell of an antler that got charred in a fire a while back. This one I spotted from about 60-70 yards down the slope. Here's Gail's finds...... He actually found the nicest brown one and the best one of the day.

Now that's funny! Actually my wife went through all my shirts and threw the old ones and the tattered, but highly cherished, shirts away. I'm sad to say that she filed GRONG orange in the garbage without me knowing it. CAN YOU BELIEVE THE NERVE!?!?!?! Guess I gotta make an order from Amanda for a few more..........

To funny man!! I love it when someone throws in the ol "touche'", that cracks me up!! If we play it cool and color our skin a darker shade of brown we might be able to pull it off but until then we're all just gonna have to wait to see if they show up.

Ok if you are tired of your 150+ buck I'd gladly adorn wall of my house with it for you Ya those things are pretty freakin unreal, it was a pleasure just getting to hold them finally. I sure hope some of the matches to those antlers show up. Right now some rotten butt squirrels are probably chewing on them I'm sad to say.

Actually this kind of growth is typically from some sort of damage to the pedicle when the bull is super young which causes it to grow at the angle at which the pedicle fixes it's self. Normally on these bulls, once killed, you can see the scar tissue on the pedicle to prove it. I see them a lot each spring while buying sheds and heads.

I tell you what, that is one cool dude right there. I buy all those sheds from Hank and I love listening to all the cowboy stories he's told me. I'm proud to know him too, seriously.

At first glance it looked like one, 3 pointed antler but upon a closer look it's two antlers blended in. The left antler is a normal antler just forming while the other one is growing off the front of his face. I see quite a few antlers and bulls like this every year. Pretty cool stuff!
