12a archery,really looking forward to this,hunted there several times always avoided the weekends as to many people,it was a zoo.Glad they went to draw only. Good luck to all,enjoy your time outdoors!!!!!

anyone spend some time hunting 9, hows the archery elk hunting there?

no but I have the chance to buy a landowner for archery,in the regs they seperate hunting water canyon and marquez wma in unit 9,do you know why? Just wondering.

Used all copper bullets in 12a west back in 2001,they are most accurate bullets I have shot out of my 270, federal factory loads with a 130 grain barnes xtc. One shot and my buck was down,weight retention was almost 100 %, expansion was perfect. I now shot barnes all copper bullets in all my centerfire rifles.

Heard a story of mercury found in bass in lake roosevelt. Anyone else have any imput and the consequences involved.

This past few days I have been seeing herds of 9 to 15 does all with younger bucks following close behind and even bedding close by the does,this has been noticed by myself since the beginning of dec. I have also found bigger herds of whietail does,upwards of 15 to 20 does together. I am in southern AZ.
