Pearce quality guns in Camp Verde -
My Son got his first Javelina on Saturday. We went to my spot I prefer for Javelina and cattle and Yote's where running all over it. So I opted to go to my other spot and with in thirty minutes of getting out of the Jeep we were on the pigs. We spooked them, they ran a little ways and then calmed down. We put the sneek on them and got within shooting range. I told him " wait for one to get broadside and then shoot"! One started to feed on a prickelypear and that was it "BOOM" he put the smackdown on it! About one hunderd yards and he dropped it in it's tracks! I very proud of him and He is pumped about his first big game animal! Not sure how to post a picture?

Read one time in Readers digest about a Navajo indian that put "3" shots in the wing of a Air force jet that kept scattering his sheep. That to be beats most standing shots at even 200yrds! -
Sounds painful, hope you get over the troubled back!

Hey I didn't say that it was authentic or that I believed it. If i did believe it I wouldn't have asked. I myself said I could believe 200 or 225 but not 500! That is the same picture that I got, so thanks for posting it!

Very cool!

I'd keep an eye out for that one!

How about the "LARK Law"?
-
I use Nosler ballistic tips in my .270s and Nos. Partions in my .300win. . I dropped a elk on the run at 225yrds with the .300 and never found the bullet. I dropped a mulie at 206 with the .270 and never found the bullet. Both animals had mush for hearts and part of the lungs blasted. The only bullet I have ever found was from a .22-250 on a whitetail at 220 yards, the bullet and jacket where stuck on the opposite side of impact between the hide and meat! The bullet was a remington sp through the shoulder blade! Dropped like a rock!

That is great! Now you just have to set your standards higher on the next elk tag! Way to go!

Very nice bull and story!
